New accounts have extremely limited resource credits. You need resource credits to post. New accounts can only post twice a day. Your great comment is somewhat wasted because few people will read it.

New users should only write root posts and limit their comments.

SteemD shows that the system delegated 15 SP (STEEM POWER) to your account. Go to the upvote calculator. Enter the number 15000 . The upvote of an account with 15000 SP is worth $0.69. Divide by a thousand. The upvote of an account with 15 SP is just 0.0069 Steem.

The big challenge is that the upvote of a new account is worth less than a tenth of a penny and new accounts have insufficient resources to function.

Returning to the upvote calculator. One needs to have 212SP ($165 in real dollars) for their upvote to be worth a penny.

Now for the rub: SteemIt.com rounds down. A post needs at least $0.02 worth of votes to get a pay off on this silly platform. I upvoted your post, but you are unlikely to get anything unless someone else upvotes you.

New users sometimes get a lot of votes on their #introduceyourself post. A post can have five tags. A good introduceyourself post usually mentions the region of the world a person lives, subjects of interest. It also helps to have a good picture.

Good luck on SteemIt. Sadly the platform has become hostile to users with little STEEM. If you have money; you might just buy STEEM. Transfer it into your account and "Power Up." Power Up freezes the funds in your account for 13 weeks. Your entire investment is at risk, but it gives you resources to post.

The investment might pay off ... but it is a gamble.

Please, don't reply to this post. Accounts with 15 SP only get two posts a day. Small accounts shouldn't waste their precious resources on comments.
