Day 129 paddling around the UK and Ireland.

Getting through the Crinan cannal section was a bit tougher than I thought, because the operators would not allow me through the locks and I had to walk around. Eventually after some waking I jumped to the adjacent river and paddled down to the sea from there, even though it was very shallow.

Getting to Oban was easy. I had the tide and the wind on my back. Lots of whirl pools and tidal races in some places. I steered clear of the imfamous Corryvrekan whirlpool…
