My Steemit Post Was CENSORED! Facebook doesn't even censor like this in China.
Steemit is literally the only thing i have going for me right now and to have a post taken down and what little money i earned on it taken as well and by people who are getting $1000 a post for their thoughts on food?!?!?! that's so completely wrong, it just baffles me that this situation has even occurred.
My post was CENSORED for no reason. Facebook doesn't even censor like this.
I see porn get posted on Steemit all the time. I see copied content get posted on here all the time. I don't ever see either of those taken down. But the folks @steemcleaners & @anyx sure took my post down in a hurry and refuse to respond to me. Ya im angry, and they blocked me on steemit chat instead of dealing with there very clear fowl up. This is what got taken down, that is to say the link no longer works unless your me, they have “hidden” it from public view

that's right!! Minergate.com Genesis Mining and MY OWN PERSONAL WEBSITE which is just a news oriented website with nothing that could even possibly be taken as offensive inappropriate or otherwise unworthy of being posted on Steemit.
There's nothing scammy about minergate or genesis either. they are two of the most well known sites for mining cryptocurrency.
I see others constantly advertising their referrals for things like genesis and even bitconnect. @trevonjb and @craig-grant are famous for it for christ sakes. Referral programs aren't scams they are tried and true marketing techniques that benefit everyone involved. It's not a scam when EVERYONE gets paid.

this is straight up orwellian big brother nonsense that has no place in a decentralized forum. I mean seriously, google and facebook don't even engage in this kind of censorship not even for their chinese customers. I demand my post be "UNHIDDEN" immediately.

@pfunk, I trust your opinion here. Any good reason to be downvoting a minergate referral link? I don't know the first thing about them, but I will say, I do not like the arbitrary nature of the referral link downvoting. If we're going to have community enforced standards of this nature, can we have a healthy debate about it first? I would love to see our community come to some kind of consensus about what is and is not a scam, and maintain a list somewhere which is open for continued debate / voting. @steemcleaners and @anyx, could you provide some rationale here for your actions?
It looks like the cencoring has stopped since I am reading this blog post now. Maybe there's a bug in the bot which scans blogs for bad material?

I got why u are angry that your post got hidden for no real reason. Check. But why are u angry about people getting dollars for food pictures? That is content is interesting for many people. That need a lot of work and is in my eyes art. Don't get envious about the money other people make. It is still about blogging and fun. I haven't made real money since a week bit still it's fun to blog.
I'm not upset about that specifically. im angry that someone who could really use the money is LOSING MONEY as a result of being CENSORED by people who make the kind of money i could really use just to pay my rent and eat, - for commenting on food. I DON'T EVEN HAVE FOOD WORTH COMMENTING ON! I'm going through a really tough time financially and i'm not one to whine about but to be sabotaged in this manner, im sorry i have to say something. I just can't take this level of being screwed by a forum that's supposed to be a beacon of decentralization
