Light the fire

One of the most important things in our spiritual life is keeping the fire burning. It usually happens to young people that after a long time of ministry, or after retirement, or when a campaign or congress ends, well after having had a powerful time with God, comes the terrible "slump", of course, the "Low" will always come, because the fire always wants to go off is your normal reaction to do so, then we must be ready to know when and how to put firewood to the fire once more to give it everything.

1. Reasons that cause the fire to go out.

You must pay attention to any of the following reasons that cause your fire to go out, let's see and pay attention to what is coming because if you find that some of this goes with you, mark it because it is time to make decisions. Some reasons that cause your fire to go out:

• Conformism. When you settle and you stay with what ever happened in your life.
• Sin. When you got dirty
• Problems. When the load is heavy.
• Frustration. When you failed in the attempt.
• Soledad. When you isolate yourself
• The pressure of group and the world. When you could not against everyone.
• Neglect When "it was worth you".
  These are some of the main causes why fire goes out in your life.

2. Symptoms that your fire is going out.

When your fire is fading, you begin to have some of the following symptoms:

• You lose the passion. If your desire to be with God cools down.
• You stop gathering. If you do not even look out for the church anymore.
• You look guilty. If you blame the pastor or whoever.
• You lose your relationship with God. If you no longer hear it, neither feel it nor pinch you.
• You feel lost. If you do not find the way back.
• Monotony. If nothing happens in your spiritual life.

3. Fan the Fire

Then it is now that you take the bull by the horns, if your fire is extinguishing: YOU MUST DO SOMETHING !!!!!!!!

• When God sent fire to the altar in the tabernacle of Moses, it was only the beginning of the intensity of his presence, it was the priest's responsibility to carry firewood every day so that the fire would not go out (Lev 6: 12-13). The retreat, the youth congress, etc. it was only God putting fire in your heart, it is your duty to keep it burning, PUT IT WOOD.

• "Take care of yourself" 1 Tim 4: 15-16. You must do something for your life, give it to everything, do not stay behind, take responsibility for your spiritual life and turn on. The development of your spiritual life is your responsibility, so Paul told Timothy: "Timothy is your responsibility to take care of your spiritual life", you should know that if the fire is going out nobody will come to light it for you it is your responsibility to do it .

• "... God has not given us a spirit of cowardice, but of power ...". God has not called cowards to his ranks, nor weak followers, He has given you power to win, to get up and put passion into your life. Use the abilities God has given you to get up, use the tools of prayer, the Word, a spiritual discipline, and behave yourself, that's the way to keep the fire going, making decisions to do it.

Run desperately to Him. Become a hunter of God's presence, may He bring a powerful revival to your life. Do not waste a minute, run ... What?? are you still there? ...... .. correeeeee in his presence !!!!, remember God in your life is a matter of life or death. Well it's okay to finish reading this and then you run.

You must be very sincere with yourself and recognize if your fire is fading, do not stand idly by, do something, things do not solve themselves, you must act, bring firewood, it is a job sometimes annoying but you must do it, your fire It must be fed every day. And remember one more thing: if you fail, run to the cross and start again, run with your eyes closed if you want but run until you reach Him.
