ALL THINGS HELP US WELL

in #steemchurch6 years ago

Good evening brothers of steemchurch, God bless you greatly, I declare the Blessings of God upon you.

Romans 8:28

“And we know that for those who love God all things help them well”

According to this passage ALL THINGS, that is, everything that has happened, happens or will happen, WORKS FOR GOOD for those who love God. In other words, EVERYTHING in the life of a man who loves God IS NECESSARY for good, since it is the combined work of everything that produces it.

Proverbs 12:21

“No adversity will happen to the just”

Nothing in vain befalls the righteous. " Nothing in the life of the man who loves God is bad, chance or in vain. But, EVERYTHING, even those things that we do not accept very pleasantly, is part of God's recipe for good. It is not accidental that the Word says: "And also all those who want to live piously in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution

Psalms 34:19

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But Jehovah will deliver them from all of them..

Ephesians 5:20

“always giving thanks for everything to God and Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

1 of Thessalonians 5:18

“Give thanks in everything, because this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.”

God tells us to give thanks in EVERYTHING. We usually thank someone for their collaboration in something concerning us. Many of us refuse to thank God in EVERYTHING, for the simple reason that we do not believe that God has a part in EVERYTHING. But as His Word says:

“¿Who will be the one who says something happened that the Lord did not send?”

Not even the devil can go beyond those limits that the Lord has established. In Job 1-2 we see that he could not prove Job without permission, and he could not go beyond the permission granted. In Luke 22:31 we see that to shake the disciples like wheat, he must first ask God.

the Scripture says "Job did not sin with his lips". When he said: "The Lord gave, the Lord took away the name of the blessed Lord" (Job 1:21) again spoke the truth: "In all this Job did not sin, nor did he attribute any nonsense to God" (Job 1: 22) what Job said was CORRECT AND PRECISE.

If you wonder why you are still unemployed, or why you are still alone, or why you have not been healed, or why that or that happened to you, do what the righteous Job did: GLORIFY THE LORD FOR THAT. Because "FOR THOSE WHO LOVE GOD ALL THINGS HELP WELL". What you may now consider as affliction, is NECESSARY FOR GOOD. Otherwise, it sure was not happening to you. Glorify the Lord and trust Him. GIVE THANKS TO ALL THINGS. You may consider some of those things to be an "evil" but we have just seen it: "No adversity will befall the righteous" and YOU ARE JUST (Romans 3: 21-26)

2 Corinthians 12:7-10

“And so that the greatness of the revelations did not exalt me excessively, I was given a sting in my flesh, a messenger of Satan to slap me, so that I would not be exalted above all; concerning which three times I have prayed to the Lord, to take it away from me. And he said to me: My grace is sufficient for you; because my power is perfected in weakness. Therefore, I will gladly glory rather in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore, out of love for Christ I rejoice in weaknesses, in insults, in needs, in persecutions, in anguish; because when I am weak, then I am strong.”

Paul was GLORIOUS in his weaknesses. The reproaches, the needs, the persecutions and the tensions were for him opportunities through which he saw the power of the Lord. The "thorn in his flesh" did not come by itself. IT WAS GIVEN TO HIM, so that he would not exalt himself. Certainly, that sting was painful and he wanted it removed, but it prevented him from his exaltation. Possibly Paul asked himself, asking the Lord for the third time, because in the previous two times he asked him to remove the sting he did not do it. It is probable that we will not understand either BUT BETTER THAN WE CREATE. Believe because we love God, all things work together for good. What did you say:

Pablo was in prison. "Naturally" speaking one could hope that their time there would be unproductive for the gospel. But we see that it says: "the things that have happened to me, have resulted rather in the progress of the gospel" and "taking courage in the Lord with my prisons, dare much more to speak the word without fear" Not only the chains of Paul was not an obstacle to the gospel but also served for its establishment. They became the power for the courageous proclamation of the Word of God for the other brothers. It may seem negative to the gospel that Paul was in prison but was not. Otherwise, it had positive effects as well as helped its establishment.

¿Would all of the above have happened if Pablo and Silas had not been in jail? Would they have seen the sky, the jailer and his family, if Pablo and Silas had not been there? I do not think so. We hear the word "prison" and associate it with something "bad", but His thoughts are not our thoughts but are much higher than ours.

Isaías 55:8-9

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts more than your thoughts.”

From all the above, that in no way the subject is tired, we can conclude that if we love God, anything that happens in our lives, pleasant or unpleasant, helps for good. Many are disappointed or offended when "tribulation or persecution overtakes them because of the Word" (Matthew 13:21). However, even tribulations, WORK FOR GOOD, if we love God.

GOD BLESS YOU
