Years ago, the magazine Selecciones published an article in which it was said that for a person to be happy and have satisfaction, three things were necessary.
✤ First, they needed something to believe in.
✤ Second, they needed someone to love.
✤ Third, they needed something worth doing.

That is true, not because the magazine mentioned it, but because the Word of God affirms it. There must be something more in life than the next breath or the next step.
And his name is Jesus Christ.

He is, by the way, the fulfillment of those three needs:

✤ Jesus is the only one to believe in,
✤ He is the one we should love,
✤ And who is worth serving.

How did you spend your energies last week, trying to be happy?
a) In shopping centers?
b) At the football stadium?
c) On the beach or in the mountains?

There is nothing wrong with these things if they are balanced by a life of prayer, study of the Word of God and service to others less fortunate than you, or evangelizing the lost. Make a commitment today to rededicate and surrender your life to God, to live in holiness and in this way bear witness to the wonders and power of God.
