SMART-WORK OVER HARDWORK!!!
Greetings fellow steemians of the #steemchurch, I greet you all in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
Today I wish to admonish us on the importance of working smart, not necessarily hard. I remember talking with a friend of mine who needed my help to do something but could not get it. He said he was eventually able to get it done, but he took a lot of time. In summary, he worked hard to get the thing done but he did not work smart, brethren, that is the problem of most people living currently in this life. They are hard-workers but not smart-workers, they take their time and energy trying to get a task done when they could easily achieve it and accomplish other things.
But basically what causes people to work hard but not smart?
The basic causative factor of this is lack of information. A man will only work to the extent to which he knows. Most people living in this modern age with unlimited access to information still do not know how to source for material of things on the internet. Most of the time, it is not because they do not want to, it is simply because they do not know how to. And this can be easily tackled and eradicated if they are informed.
Also, there is this strong tie some people have to doing things the old way, they have a believe that if it could have been done by their forefathers, then also it can be done by them. This is one of the most backward and lagging mentality that is killing the advancement of some communities. They are stuck where they are and even after seeing that their method is failing, they would still not want to reach out.
But basically as a young person in this world, we should understand one thing You will not live long enough to achieve it from the scratch, learn from where others failed and make that your starting point.
Now please do not get me wrong that I am saying you cannot achieve your goals, I am not saying that, I am simply saying be wise about them, look at where others failed and work from there, understand where they made their own mistakes and make that into your starting point. Look at how far science and technology has come, it was made possible simply by the fact that different people at different times in their life, built on what the former has done. Imagine if each scientist had to go back to arithmetic or to prove why an atom is an atom, and then also making discoveries that are already made before they start to work on something in their generation.

Won’t that be a lag to our development?
It will hinder us in moving forward in every way, so also, as Christians let us apply this into our live, we know the life that some apostles and saints lived, it was tasking but they overcame. We have Christ our savior, imagine going through some other means which is not rooted strongly in Christ Jesus in order to reach God, our Father, What a futile and time-wasting activity it can be.
So brethren of the #steemchurch, I implore us all today to ensure that in all our activities in life, we should work hard, but also very smart. So as to avoid wasting our time on things that are not important.

Acting smart is encouraged in the scriptures. When we act smart as individuals, we would find the easiest way possible to do a difficult task. The pictures you included says it all. Thanks for sharing.
We just stumbled on your post. An interesting topic. It's not about how hard we work, but what we are able to accomplish. Working smart is the best thing to do.

The idea that you should work smarter, not only harder isn’t anything new. When talking about the difference between smart and hard work it’s pretty simple to explain what working hard means. If you want to be successful in the long run, you have to put long hours into work. You have to start early, before all other people, and you have to stay up late, when everyone else is already enjoying their afternoons and evenings.
On the other hand, it’s really hard to find very clear guidelines on what working smart really means and how it’s different from hard work. It’s very obvious that even if you’re determined that nobody will outwork you, you still have maximum limits regarding working hours that you reach pretty fast; and there’s always someone who’s willing to sleep less than you. On top of that, many people work hard, but only a few become really successful. That’s because smart work is what makes the difference.

Hardwork becomes stress when it isn't backed by wisdom. Two different hardworking people can do the same time with different amount of strength because of the different wisdom applied to that work.
Being smart is as good as being hardworking
We need to learn to work smart, not work hard.
Those working hard are still poor today.

Working smart and hard would make life a lil easier.
We must ask for God grace first in work because it is the most important and we should work hard, but also very smart. So as to avoid wasting our time on things that are not important.
Living a hard life has never favored anybody. Work so intensely with strength and feed like an ant. Let us endeavour to use more of our head than muscle.
