The power of the Word of God

"If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you." John 15: <3

In several stages of our lives we have heard words or phrases like these: I told you, if you saw, I warned you, Some have perhaps experienced stronger ones and have lived them in their own flesh like: I hope that you fence good bad!, I hope something happens to him so that he learns, like his dad, (or mom), it does not change!

But there will also be someone, who today is the product of a word or a series of words that someone, like his grandparents, parents, brothers ..., declared about his life; You will be a great entrepreneur! You will have a great family! You will be productive! Good for these.

Perhaps several were born in the cradle of a family that professes faith in Christ and brings a promise from the womb of their mother, or has a word decreed over their lives when they were presented as children in the church; but let me tell you that not everyone has that privilege, and today I want to teach you that it is possible to get rid of every idle, corrupt, and cursing word that someone has declared about his life and about the life of his family; and even untie those that you have been able to tie with your statements.

Today I want you to discover, how the word that one declares is a powerful weapon, and how, the Word of God put in our mouth to bless, is even more so. It is your responsibility and mine to make good use of the word and especially of the Word of God.

This message has the purpose of making known the power of the word decreed by the mouth of men, which is based on the word and the will of God.

  • Let's see some examples of the power that the Word has:

* THE WORD OF GOD HAS POWER TO CLEAN.

"And the Lord said, I will destroy from the face of the earth the beings whom I have created, from man to cattle, and creeping things, and the birds of the sky; because I regret having done them. "Genesis 6: 7

The word "Arrasaré" or "rare" in other versions of the Bible, comes from "maká" that apart from means to destroy, but also means to CLEAN.

These words were spoken by Jehovah before the flood occurred; and the motivation of Jehovah to propitiate the flood, we find it in Genesis 6: 12-13:

"God looked at the earth, and behold, it was corrupt, because all flesh had corrupted its way on the earth" and God said to Noah: "I have decided the end of all being, because the earth is full of violence because of them ; and I will destroy them with the earth "

This "I will destroy" comes from the word "shakját", which means to destroy, kill, destroy.
On the other hand, when chapter 1 of Genesis refers to the water that covered the face of the earth, it uses the word "Máim" which means water. That same Maím is the one that destroys covers the earth in Genesis. 7: 6

When the waters come down, God makes a covenant with Noah and says in Gen.8: 21: "And Jehovah smelled pleasantly; and the LORD said in his heart, I will never again curse the ground for man's sake; because the intent of man's heart is bad from his youth; I will never again destroy every living thing, as I have done. "

Then a question may arise: How is God going to cleanse man from his wickedness, from his sinful condition, if he promised not to destroy it again for that purpose?

Says the Word of God in Ephesians 5: 25-26: "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ loved the church, and gave himself up for it, to sanctify it, having purified it in the washing of water by the word"

The brides had to wash themselves with water to purify themselves before marriage, but Jesus Christ came to the bride who is the church, and it was enough for her word to do the same as water does, to cleanse us; and you and I have the power to decree the Blessed Word of God so that this happens in our life and those around us. Whenever you have to exhort, do it with the word that cleanses, with the Word of God!

*THE WORD OF GOD HAS POWER TO GIVE LIFE.

Genesis 8:14 "And in the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth withered."

The meaning of the word "dried up" in this verse is "yabésh" in Hebrew, which means dry but also, ASHAMED, MARCHITO, EXTINGUISHED ..

What lets us interpret, that when the waters dropped their level, the picture was really unpleasant, dry, lifeless, of extinct vegetation ....

Geology is a very interesting profession, because it shows the world a reality of history that we did not know and when we see in museums a series of fossils we are amazed and we go back to all these animals, possibly destroyed during the flood. And some might claim that this flood brought physical destruction.

All the earth was covered by water about 1 year and 10 days approximately.

While there are trees such as cypresses, which support living in the water, no tree can live underwater for so long in its entirety. The absence of sun and humidity generate an anaerobic decomposition or putrefaction of vegetable organic matter, producing a series of lethal gases, known as methane gas.

After a year of being covered the earth, when the water still had not descended, Noah sends a dove but this returns soon. They spend only 7 days, and send a second pigeon which arrives with an olive branch in its beak. Physically this was not possible, since the trees would not be preserved under the water, being already decomposed. What if the seed had sprout ?, could not have given branches in 7 days !. Remember that the earth was desolate and withered, "yabésh".

Think for a moment that a person in your family is a dry land today. That familiar that we have always called the "black sheep" that does not rise, that does not produce. Possibly you have a child who is on drugs and when you look at him you only see a withered child. Or a pregnant unmarried daughter who has caused her great shame because as a minor, her school is not over. That husband who is sick of drinking so much liquor and has no longer life. Today I ask you what do you do when you see this circumstance? He yells at him, he gives him a slang, he tells him a few truths, he uses one of the phrases we saw at the beginning.

  • In Genesis 9: 1 the word blessed comes from "barak", when man blesses God, it is an act of worship, but in this case, when it is God who blesses man, it is an act of offering a benefit; That is why he places them on animals and allows us to rule the land.

Today I invite you to be our purpose, to be imitators of Jesus Christ, since we were created in his image and likeness, in the same way; let us offer the "Barák", that benefit that surely you, in some occasion, has received from another and from God himself, to each person that needs it, to each being that needs or requires a change.

God decreed it before and after the flood and confirmed it through our Lord Jesus Christ who came so that none would be lost and attain eternal life; and as it says in Isaiah 55: 10-11 "For as it comes down from the heavens rain and snow, and does not return there, but waters the earth, and makes it germinate and produce, and gives seed to the sower, and bread to him who eats, so shall my word be that goes out of my mouth; it will not return to me empty, but it will do what I want, and it will be prospered in that for which I sent it. "

  • Fructify and Multiply!

Set as goal from today, benefit someone with the power of the word of God, allow that person to be cleansed, have a new life in Christ and have the opportunity not only to materialize, but also multiply about God's natural If you are truly in Christ, the change you are asking about that person will be made.
