STEEMCHURCH- THE GENUINE EVIDENCE OF A CONVERTED LIFE
1 Timothy 1:12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;1:13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.1:14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
Saul was a persecutor of the gospel and of men that preached the gospel but on his way to one of his destructive mission, he encountered Christ and afterwards his encounter became a visible evidence of his repentance. Ths truth remains that, if we have not come to the place of encounter with God, we cannot walk sith Him. There's a junction in our life that Christ wants us to be convinced with that genuinely we have been converted, a believers, Christ wants us to reach the point of visible evidence of repentance.
If you are genuinely born again then the following should reflect in you;
- There will be a genuine desire and zeal to know God more;
Apostle Paul (Saul), after his encounter he began to do things to advance the kingdom of God, upon all these, he insisted on knowing God the more.

Phillipians 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.
One question we should ask ourselves if we feel we are genuinely repented is " Do we really have the zeal for God?
A converted life cannot be hidden, it is like a city upon the hill, an encounter with Chrisf brings about ultimate conversion.
Unfortunately, lots of believers attend church, sing, dance and pray, but there is no longing for God, there is no desire for God in our heart, there's a need for a desire for christ.
Psalm 84:2 My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.
The court of the Lord here implifies the presence of God. Is there a cry in our heart to be in God's presence today? It is only our genuine desire to know God that will differentiate us from other believers. 1Timothy 4:12
- Standing out for Christ, despite all odds:
Christ wants us to stand out for Him anywhere we find ourselves, Exodus stated that we shouldnt follow the multitude to do what they do, no wonder 2Corithians said"Be thou saparated". The desire of Christ is for everyone of us to grow beyond where we are now.
Despite the storm and the situation of the ship, Paul still encouraged the people and assured them that not a life shall belost, although the ship might be wrecked. Christ does not want us to follow the pattern of the world, no wonder He said "Love not the world,nor the things of this world. A lot of believers still adapt to the things of the world, we stil behave like them, do what they do and visit places they go.
-Genuine committment to preaching the gospel;
The greatest key that Christ can use in transforming the life of anybody is the word of God.
The question is "How do unbelievers hear this word and be transformed if we (Believers) are quiet to the gospel. Atimes we see unbelievers perish in sin, but we do nothing about it, we just keep quiet and let them continue in sin. Christ wants us to speak the gospel to people. The heartbeat of God is Evangelism, that men cbould be saved.
Romans 9:1 I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,9:2 That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart.9:3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh.
If you are a child of God, and you have been truly converted, then you should seek to convert others. Christ wants
us to speak out His word. My question for you this morning is; " What are your plans for unbelievers, what plans do you have to bring them close to Christ? Christ encourges us to be genuinely fervent in preaching the word of God.
How would unbelievers be saved if the do not hear the word, and how will they hear if there is no preacher? The gospem is a very important tool in transforming lives.

Unfortunately, lots of believers attend church, sing, dance and pray, but there is no longing for God, there is no desire for God in our heart, there's a need for a desire for christ.
This sentence put me Into deep thought, just then I realise that its the absolute truth. One thing is to go to church, sing dance a d pray, another thing is to have desire for Him and be passionate about Him
My question for you this morning is; " What are your plans for unbelievers, what plans do you have to bring them close to Christ? The truth is, majority of Christians today do not have plans for unbelievers, we are only after making heaven for ourselves, forgetting g the fact that preaching a d spreading the good news is the great commission Christ gave us.

God seeks worshipers in spirit and in truth, many people can attend churches, sing, serve God and even know the word and have the best revelation of God, but another very different is the fervent desire to know more and more. to God, He says we must recognize Him in all our ways, in the good and in the bad, thank you for taking your time in expressing the word of God for edification, God rewards all effort that comes out with love from the heart, God bless you
The greatest miracle that I have ever seen is when a sinner is converted. Saul's conversion was one. It is only the power of God that could bring such transformation. This is why we need the Holy Spirit to be on the move even before we preach the word to others. Nothing can convert a sinner but God's power. @vikebun
we are open letters for all! we must be witness to what Christ does in us!
God looks for admirers in soul and in truth, numerous individuals can go to chapels, sing, serve God and even know the word and have the best disclosure of God, yet another altogether different is the intense want to know to an ever increasing extent. to God, He says we should remember Him in all our courses, in the great and in the terrible, thank you for taking as much time as necessary in communicating the expression of God for enlightenment, God remunerates all exertion that turns out with adoration from the heart
Lamentably, bunches of adherents go to chapel, sing, move and supplicate, yet there is no yearning for God, there is no want for God in our heart, there's a requirement for a want for christ.
This sentence place me Into profound idea, simply then I understand that its the total truth. One thing is to go to chapel, sing move a d ask, something else is to have want for Him and be energetic about Him
You have set the record straight "How would unbelievers be saved if the do not hear the word, and how will they hear if there is no preacher? The gospem is a very important tool in transforming lives"
Thanks for sharing this with us @vikebun, If you are a child of God, and you have been truly converted, then you should seek to convert others. Christ wants us to speak out His word.
It's true that there are a lot of people in Church for different reasons. Some are just there to show off their new clothes, make friends or amuse themselves.
I believe a Christian who does not preach the gospel is selfish and wicked.
