STEEMCHURCH- HOW CAN FAITH BE DEVELOPED?

Yesterday we started our discussion on a very important topic that is paramount in our lives individually daily, faith, we looked into various definitions, the operations and the essence of faith. Today we shall continue and look into other aspects of faith.

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Faith originates from the hearing of God's word. Faith cannot be nurtured apart from God's word. Faith is sustained or developed by a two folded expression of God word namely:
- By Confessing God Word: This has to do with the declaration of faith. It involves speaking forth into being all of God's promises, words and blessings to us. Despite how we feel, what we see with out eyes, hear with out ears or have analyzed in our minds we must refuse to profess otherwise. Let God alone be true. It also includes praying in the spirit.
Jude 20But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [[d]make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit;

- By Our Actions: This is the demonstration of our faith. If out faith is merely based on confession then it is weightless, and would not be developed that way. For faith to develop, it must have life. In this wise faith is either
Living.or
Dead
Faith that had life is known by the ability to produce works. Faith is an action word or a doing word. Like a man is known to be alive who has has the spirit in him, in the same wise is faith that has work in itself. Therefore it is positioning oneself for action that faith finds full expression and ultimately oh s developed.
WHAT LIMITS FAITH?
The major limitation to faith is Fact, leading to doubt. Fact is anything that by our human assessment is reality but runs contrary to the word of God concerning any matter. And having compared and contrasted the word of God with what is obtainable in this world. This is outright doubt. Doubt means to be between two opinions. To give room to alternatives rather than standing firm on God's word, is doubt.

Faith doesn't imply ruling out facts, it simply implies being so conscious of heavenly realities that we live like earthly realities are not there.
Facts leading to doubt has the capacity to hinder how much God can do. (Matthew 13:53-58). Christ didn't do many mighty work there because of their unbelief.
In Conclusion, our Relationship with God is based on faith from the beginning to the end. Without faith, we will not be able to explore all that the father has for us. Since all that will be accomplished in our lives is a function of our faith, let us then dislodge anything that seeks to tamper with our faith, trust and confidence in God we must possess.
Matthew 9:29, Then He touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith and trust and reliance [on the power invested in Me] be it done to you.

We must begin to and remain persistent in operating in faith despite the opposing trend, for the Lord is coming for those who have not traded faith for doubt.
Luke 18: 8, I tell you, He will defend and protect and avenge them speedily. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find [[h]persistence in] faith on the earth?

Only those who trust in the lord will always win in all situations. Every body must die but only those who trust in the lord will live forever.
Our concern should always be focussed on the paths of the living God and it should be directed towards doing things for those who don't have.
God has given us power to always preach his word and follow his parts which will lead us to the parts of righteousness.
We should love our self .
We should extend our live to christ because he is always there to save us from all our weakness hr is the alpha and the omega .
Come to him any time you have sinned and fine contrary to his will .
He is always ready to accept you any time
Truly we must continue in persistent faith because our relationship with God is based on it, and we cannot receive anything from God without faith. Christ is the author and finisher of our faith.

Faith is a seed that needs to be nurture in order to keep it growing.
We can grow our faith through constant studying, meditating,confessing and listening to the word of word.
The testimonies of others can help us to build our faith too.
We need to keep practicing what we study in the word of God in order to put it to actions
Faith is like muscles, they need to be exercise to grow bigger and stronger.
Truly we ought to continue in persevering trust in light of the way that our relationship with God relies upon it, and we can't get anything from God without certainty. Christ is the maker and finisher of our certainty.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen, faith cometh by hearing, and hearing of the word of God so to develop your faith you need to keep hearing and don't stop hearing the word of God so not to hamper your faith gauge. Your knowledge in the word of God develops your faith. It keeps you without worrying, fear and doubt.
Only those who trust in the lord will always win in all situations. Every body must die but only those who trust in the lord will live forever.

Faith refuses to see only the surrounding circumstances and looks past them to God’s mighty power. Every time we experience God’s deliverance, our faith is strengthened…and our God is glorified. Victory in the Christian life is not based on our strength. It is the product of faith, and faith comes as we choose to know and claim the promises of God.
