Jesus invites us to be like him meek and humble, to have a meek heart is to be free from the heavy burden imposed by sin; I perceive in this that nothing is great enough to disturb a quiet and still heart.

This does not mean that He does not respond firmly when required, Jesus did not hesitate to show himself strongly to the merchants of the temple moved by the zeal of the things of God.

Therefore, I must show my works, always in wise meekness, that is, that there is no boasting or vainglory in me, to do everything as for the Lord without me recognizing the work but the others.

It means that I do not have to answer if I am attacked, I do not have to defend myself with words but my works speak for me.

Jesús nos invita a ser como él mansos y humildes, tener un corazón manso es estar libres de la carga pesada que impone el pecado; yo percibo en esto que nada es lo suficientemente grande para perturbar un corazón tranquilo y apacible.
Esto no significa que no responda con firmeza cuando se requiera, Jesús no dudó en mostrarse fuerte ante los mercaderes del templo movido por el celo de las cosas de Dios.
Por lo tanto, yo debo mostrar mis obras, siempre en sabia mansedumbre, es decir, que no haya jactancia ni vanagloria en mí, hacer todo como para el Señor sin que sea yo quien reconozca la obra sino los demás.
Quiere decir que yo no tengo que responder si me atacan, no tengo que defenderme con palabras sino que mis obras hablen por mí.
