AT THE END: SHOULD I HAVE FAITH or PLAN?

Sometimes when we speak in PLANNING for the best progress of the church's activities, we hear from some people: "How can anyone think of Planning, when the Bible says that the just live by faith?!"

It is true that the Bible is the best administration manual in the history of humanity, now: Are there mistaken concepts about what is Faith and also about what is PLANNING - will it be for the account of some self-help books, which try to get confused ? -

One of the lessons about this, appears in the example, simple, quoted by the Lord Jesus, when he tells the parable of the two houses: One built by a man "foolish" and another built by another man: "prudent" (Matthew 7 : 24-28).

The man who builds his house without foundations, surely should believe that he did not need to devote efforts to the foundation. It was enough to lift the building and could live under that roof, which would be properly protected. He should feel full of faith - but it was faith in himself (self-help faith) - and that is why he did not dedicate himself to prudence, so he tried to buy time, to touch the work before ... And what did he give?

The prudent man is capable of 'distrusting' that he needs something more. That your intuition is not enough. That his self-confidence is not everything, that's why he is dedicated to building on the rock.

Faith, according to the Bible is not self-confidence - "everything is going to give true ... and final point!". Faith, according to the Bible, goes through the distrust that I can not trust myself. Then, if I distrust, I ask for God's direction and I do not need to be afraid to Plan according to God's direction.

In the same way: Planning (being prudent) is not trusting yourself - on the contrary: it is distrusting yourself, thinking that if you do it "anyway, it may not be the best way.

Then: Someone can plan according to their own convenience, seeking to achieve their own ends. In that case your plans will be frustrated. Already another plans according to the will of God: Christ is his foundation: This rests of God.

Whoever prays and puts his life under the direction of the Holy Spirit of God does not need to be afraid or have faith or plan. Well, it is God who directs it!
Therefore, faith and planning are not enemies. Since both one and the other are based on Jesus

Christ, our Eternal Rock!

James 2:17 tells us that faith without works is dead. Proverbs 16:3 tells us to commit our way to the Lord and He will establish our plans. As you said, planning and faith are not enemies. Keep posting. God bless you
