WHAT IS BEING SPIRITUALLY STILL ?.
The world is full of believers, but very few the Spirit of God is manifested to them and that is worrisome and it has to call us to reflection. It is not enough to read the Bible, know all its verses as a dead letter and stick to some of them for personal interest or preach for vanity. Many are the Christians who have never felt this river of living water that runs through the inside of our being when the Holy Spirit is present and are far from living it, feeling it, despite knowing the word and knowing God's call.
We need the water that God gives us as a source of life that is Christ. When we move away from Him, we lack life, because He is the one that allows us to be full of vigor, full of all the good things that exist in our environment.
John 7: 37-38.
Anyone who believes in me, as the Scripture says, from his interior will flow rivers of living water.
Jesus stood up and raised his voice, saying: If anyone is thirsty, come to me and drink. Our Lord Jesus Christ is speaking to the disciples, in relation to what he is. He is telling you that he will satisfy all who are spiritually thirsty. In other words, the call is precisely also for all those people who believe and are in the Lord. This call is for the transformation of the interior of our being so that a river of living water can flow. Whoever allows God to be the one who opens his way to experience and feel an indescribable peace that flows will be under the power of the Holy Spirit.
Salmo 23: 1,2 "The Lord is My Shepherd; I have everything I need. In the green meadows he lets me rest, he takes me along quiet streams. "
The thirsty soul always seeks the streams of water that come from the Lord. He is our source of life and if we are with Him we have everything, the problems will not affect us, the difficulties will not make us doubt because we know in whom we have believed and in whom we trust, because that source of water is Eternal and never ends. he is inexhaustible
The crystalline waters, refresh, revive and drive us every time to a life with purpose. It is the strength of God taking us by the hand and encouraging us not to surrender, but to follow the path of spiritual peace step by step.
REFLECTION
The waters transmit life. There is nothing so comforting as listening to the flow of a stream of water. There is no more depressing water than stagnant water. This indicates that you should not get away from the source of the Life that is Christ, because many times the worries of life make us turn away from Him.
The manifestation and experience of the holy spirit in our lives is a characteristic of joy in the Lord, a reality of fullness and fullness, difficult to explain.
