The sole fact of being Israel chosen by God, is sufficient reason so that in every prayer that is made, it is blessed. Many wonder why God did not choose another people? He decided to do it that way, his reasons would have, it is like everything, when it is going to be a choice, all parameters are analyzed, reasons and reasons that meet the expectations or purposes for that purpose.
So, why did God choose Israel? God chose the ancient Israelites because He had promised Abraham that his descendants would become a great nation and occupy the land of Canaan (Genesis 12: 3, 7; 17: 4, 7-8; 22:17). God blessed Abraham and his descendants because of the faith of Abraham, a living faith by which Abraham diligently obeyed the instructions and law of God (Genesis 26: 3-5). This promise was repeated to the son of Abraham, Isaac, and to Abraham's grandson, Jacob (Genesis 17:21; 26:24; 28: 1-4, 13).
Deuteronomy 7: 7-9 tells us, "Not because you are more than all the peoples, has the Lord willed and chosen you, since you were the most insignificant of all peoples; but because the LORD loved you, and would keep the oath which he swore to your fathers, the LORD hath brought you out by a mighty hand, and hath redeemed you from bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Know, then, that Jehovah your God is God, the faithful God, who keeps the covenant and mercy to those who love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations."
