Christian transformation
Ending up more like Christ in our outward man is the core of spiritual development. Spiritual hindering or kwashiorkor happens when our christian development moves toward becoming captured or backed off, for reasons unknown. God's arrangement is for the devotee to be changed every day to wind up more like Christ. We are altogether changed into a similar picture, which is Christ.
But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. (2 Corinthians 3:18 NAS)
At whatever point we step forward in our development, we turn out to be more similar to Him, and we move starting with one level of eminence then onto the next level. The adherent resembles the sun that ascents ahead of schedule at first light and winds up brighter and brighter as early afternoon is drawing closer.
The mystery of christian change is seeing Christ. As we see, we wind up changed to end up what we see. Steady change in this manner comes about when we keep our eyes settled on Him.
How would we see Christ? Not with our physical eyes. We see Christ with our spiritual eyes that are opened by disclosure of His Word to us. The Spirit demonstrates Christ to us in the Word. The newman is reestablished by learning( Colossians 3:10). Christian development is easy in the presence of steady new disclosure of the Word on a predictable premise to an open heart. It must be easy, in light of the fact that it is by the Spirit when Christ is seen.
As you see Him, you will end up changed by the Spirit to end up like Him. Consider upon the puzzle of seeing Christ in the reflection of the Word. Consider the change that takes after the seeing. Admit the expressions of the verse above by mumbling out loud.
