The trials and temptations help us grow.
At the moment of salvation, God has taken away our old man, to transform us into a new man who wishes to do his will. This is the main reason that pushes us to want to abandon sin, abandon our old way of life, to learn more and more what is right, to be more and more equal to Christ.
To achieve this goal, God submits us to tests of integrity with which our hearts test. The Bible affirms that every believer in his life faces different types of trials and temptations.
The difference between the trials and the temptations is the following: a test is an experience that God allows us to grow in our life and push us to trust even more in him. Instead, a temptation comes from Satan, who wants us to disobey the commandments of God and to turn aside from the path.
The surprising thing is that, if we reflect carefully, every difficult situation in which we find ourselves can become a trial and a temptation, depending on how we react to it. After all, it does not matter if we are facing a test that comes from God or a temptation from the devil, any test or temptation can become a wonderful opportunity for growth.
Accept the challenge when a test or a temptation knocks on your door because you can get the victory.
There hath no temptation taken you but such as man can bear: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it.
1Corinthians 10:13.
Every day is a new day. It will bring us new blessings and even new battles. But behind all uncertainty there is an opportunity for growth. You should not fear any challenge, remember all the victories that you have already won with God.
Do not trust the circumstances, the Spirit of God is your strength. Christ lives in you, you are capable of facing any challenge without surrendering to sin. You can do it because its strength in you is more powerful than your suffering or the enemy you must face.
Do not just put a Vote or a Comment to the beautiful #promisesofgod. If you want to win, do not underestimate the battle against sin. If you want to be successful in your Christian life, look for the genuine, the love and the truth.
If this is the case, confess your sins, repent of your mistakes, ask for forgiveness if you have hurt someone. Offer reconciliation where you are guilty and accept the forgiveness that is offered. Only in this way can the Holy Spirit continue to renew you to make you more and more equal to Christ.
