It is a pleasure and a privilege to talk about Evan Roberts. This man of God, was born on June 8, 1878, the son of a Methodist Calvinist family in Gales (British Isles), from his childhood he showed an unusual thirst for God, although he was the son of a Christian family, always wanted to go one more mile away, read the word of God and pray at all times, the neighbors and their families would see him "talking alone" through the streets and praying in the early hours from 1:00 am until 5:00 am, which led to his parents to consult the doctors to determine if something bad had happened to him, because they thought that Evan Robert was suffering from mental disorders.

Evan worked in a coal mine from a very early age, but this did not prevent him from reading the Bible in his hours of rest.

Evans Robert was in constant communion with God and among the things he asked for was a revival for Gales, something he asked the Father for 11 years.

When he turned 23, he had the revelation on the part of the Holy Spirit that a revival would come to Gales, the Spirit showed him that 100,000 people would come to occupy that place, which prompted him to prepare the way to captivate and preach the good news of the Salvation.

After a service in the church he attended, he requested permission from a pastor of the church where he attended to meet with the local youth. In that meeting, he informed everyone what the Holy Spirit had shown him. From that moment, Gales was not the same again.

Evan always stayed in the background, he never wanted to identify himself as a leader of what was happening in Wales.

The cults that took place in the Moriah Chapel church where Evan preached were extraordinary, there were no protocols, they only prayed and praised God, without publicity, without programming, only led by the Holy Spirit, Roberts was behind the pulpit and preached during 5 to 10 minutes and he encouraged the attendees to seek God in spirit and truth, to confess their sins, to repent, to restitution, to obedience and surrender to God. After that time he would retreat to a corner of the church and he would kneel to pray, cry and moan in communion with God.

The amazing events in that place were the demonstration of the power of God in the healing of people with chronic diseases, crime statistics had fallen, the liquor stores and bars closed their doors because no one attended those places.

In 1904, Evan reminds God of the 100,000 people He showed him in vision and after six weeks, more than 100,000 souls were transformed by the power of God.

People walked through the streets at 3 in the morning drunk but of the Holy Spirit.

Evan Robert was the catalyst of this revival, more than 100 preachers and ministers directed the cults to the living God during the time that this revival lasted (1901-1905).

The revival is when a community is impregnated with God.
