Genesis 32 :24-30 King James Version (KJV)

And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.
And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.
And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.
And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.
And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.
And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.

Jacob cried for seven hours "Unless you bless me, I will not let thee go". What was the angel doing there? He wanted to see whether Jacob would give up easily. There is no way a man can wrestle with an angel and win in two minutes. The angel will dismantle the whole of his body system in one second. But in Jacob's case, God wanted to know whether Jacob would give up.
And as Jacob went on , the angel too must have been praying secretly; although he could not tell Jacob directly "Don't give up, continue the struggle; don't give up, don't give up." As the fullness of time came, he looked at Jacob and said, "What is thy name?"

Jacob replied, “Jacob”.

And the angel of the Lord said, “Thy name shall not be called Jacob anymore, but you shall be called Israel”.

That day the destiny of Jacob changed. I pray that today will be your day, in the name of Jesus.

CHANGE

The world hates change, yet it is the only thing that brings progress. Progress is impossible without change, the cemetery is the only place changes is void, many resist change, some tolerate it.
A popular saying;
"If you don't cry out for change this day, you will remain in chains''

If you cry and things change, then your life becomes different. If people find it hard to change, you'd remain the same; if you have hatred for change, it is the architect of decay.

CRY FOR CHANGE

If you are experiencing lame breakthroughs, cry to the Lord now.

When you see your prayer life Is down and you don't love prayer anymore; this is called prayer paralysis, you will need to cry out for a change

When you see you your benefits don't get to you, it's like the fowlers net has captured it; this is evil diversion, you will to cry for a change.

Sometimes, all that is required for a breakthrough is just a little change in life. What many calls problems are often trumpet calls for a change. After God has used several avenues to talk to a person without obtaining any tangible response from the person, what he does next is to resist such a personike he did to Adam, Balaam and Jonah.

Perhaps you are at the present dissatisfied with all the feelings of frustration, uselessness, aimlessness or being wasted. You know that you are intelligent but nobody is asking to use your brain, and you are being discouraged because of that. Or you know that right now the enemy is dancing all over the garden of your life, you need to cry out to the Lord now. Tell him that you need a change, that you need to open up the garden of your life to the Holy Spirit, that you must take action against all unchristlike attitude in your life.

If by chance you are privileged to work for God and he requires a change in a particular area but you keep resisting, He will raise up a stone because in the work of God no one is indispensable; if you think you are the most talented person in the universe, God can create a new person, put more talents in Him and send him, just to disgrace your pride.

As I conclude this post ; the Lord has provide us with a table in the presence of our enemies, unfortunately, some people keep scattering the table with their own legs. This is very sad.
