You do not walk alone

Blessings for all the faithful of the Steem church, God is good and forever is his sermon. Today when the day just begins here in my country I want to share with you this beautiful word of encouragement.

Life is nothing more than a long walk in which you can not walk alone. Many try to resist, but there always comes a time when we feel lack of someone to walk with us, to support us and encourage us to continue on that journey. But, however much we have company, we can still feel alone. That's because, the bales we carry go more heavy every day and nothing that people do can relieve that weight. They can even try to encourage us, but they can not understand what we are feeling, so the walk becomes very difficult and it seems that the pain will never end. But it only seems ...

Moses walked through the desert to the Promised Land with his brother Aaron and thousands of Hebrews. But leading that crowd that only knew how to claim, became a heavy burden and Moses began to feel lonely and tired. So at that moment God spoke to him: "I myself will go with you, and I will give you rest" (Exodus 33:14).

If you have felt lonely during your trip, know that God speaks the same for you today! "I'm going to accompany you myself." Stop and think. The Almighty God is saying that he will always be by his side and will be his faithful companion on the way. How can you feel alone after receiving a promise from those? Is there something more comforting and encouraging than knowing that God will be with you, helping you, protecting you and supporting you? I think not!

But, nevertheless, many people can not see that God is at their side. They became prisoners of their own problems, and now they are with a closed heart for the love of God. Everything they see around them are problems and failures, and faith is no longer their partner. So it's hard to continue on that hike.

Life can, many and many times, take us to the desert, but that does not mean that your life should dry up! The God who created you is with you, and He will not give you a greater burden than you can bear. The walk may be long, but He knows the right way for you to reach the Promised Land, and if you learn to live by faith, your heart will be rested every day, for you will know that everything that happens, there is a divine purpose. The prophet Jeremiah said: "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose trust the Lord is will be like a tree planted by the water, which spreads its roots by the river, and will not when the heat comes, but his leaf will be green, and in the year of drought it does not take, nor will it fail to bear fruit "(Jeremiah 17: 7,8).

You need to trust God even when people can not do anything for you. With that, even when it seems that your desert will never end, your heart will continue to be happy and confident, because it is God himself who will be strengthening. Remember these promises: "My brethren, bear in mind that all joy comes from going through various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience" (James 1: 2-3). "Never forget what the Lord says to you:" (...) never forsake you, "(Hebrews 13: 5).
