To say with the soul that I love you, you have to heal inside. To say of heart that I love you, you have to take out the bitterness of the soul. This way we can really love, expressing what we feel with our heart, with sweet words, all the time. Saying blessings, saying loving phrases, drawing love from the abundance of our heart.

Because we owe it to ourselves - and to God - the debt of love, we must prepare the heart to love. The Word of God invites us to draw closer to God and bring to Him the wounds of childhood, past experiences, the bitterness acquired over the years; and ask him to allow us to have a new heart to premiere with the person to whom we have promised to love all our days. God is love and it is through his Word that we learn to love.
