Just as we are created according to the divine image, so we can imitate the moral sincerity of God. But it is also a promise that, by the grace of God, the impossible will be possible. In the new world, God will regenerate all relationships. The Jesus of Matthew instructs the disciples to live in the present, drawing strength from the new world that is already at work.
