STEEMCHURCH- When You See Jesus in His Grace, He sees you in your faith

If you have been following my recents #steemchurch posts then you will notice that my messages have been centred around grace. This is because many Christians are yet to understand and comprehend the depth of the grace of God through Jesus our lord.

Many of you remember the story of the woman with the issue of blood in the bible who was bleeding for 12 years, she didn't let her condition draw her away from believing that God is full of grace and he is powerful. She must have known fully well that according to the law of Moses she was considered unclean. She was not meant to touch anyone not to talk of squeezing her way through a crowd of people. She didn't just see Jesus as one powerful healer only, she saw Him as someone that was merciful and full on grace and that revelation have her the courage and believe that if she could just touch the hem of his garment she would be healed forever and it happened.

Luke 8:43-48

And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched. And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately. And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace

Normally she would have been expecting to be punished for breaking the law of Moses, but insteaded of that she believed she will have het breakthrough that day and her condition will be a thing of the past, She saw Jesus for who he really was, Someone who is filled with love and compassion, powerful, merciful and full of grace not someone who was difficult, hard and condemning. In Jesus she saw a savior and with her faith and belief she went on through the struggle to touch the hem of his garment and when she did she was immediately healed of her affliction.

She saw Jesus for his grace and Jesus saw her for her faith and this made Jesus say to her "daughter your faith has made you whole".

When you really see God for his grace your faith will spring up . Everything Jesus did was out of grace not because we deserved it. If it was up to what we deserve we would have perished.

What we experience is more like an undeserved kindness which we do not merit.

There are so many things to learn from the woman who had problem with her flow of blood. She was viewed as unclean, but she did not let that discourage her. That made possible the undeserving kindness of the Lord she enjoyed.

Thanks for sharing this bible account, we appreciate quality contents at SteemChurch.

I am what I am, by the Grace of God... Nothing beats His Grace...

We need to stop seeing God as an angry God but rather a God that is full of Grace

John 1:14 says, "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

We need to learn how to come boldly to the throne of Grace just like the woman with the issue of blood.

Hebrews 4:16 says, "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."

God's grace is indescribable, but one has to be a believer and have faith!
