So many times we just act without considering the out come of the consequences of our action on the people around us and ourselves. From the text, we could see how queen vashti lost her place as a queen, a wife and a mother just because she could not give a second thought to her decision.
The questions is who was she trying to impress?

The verse 9 of the text pointed out that she was also feasting with the women which was good but where she was needed the most she fail to avail herself which brought on her what she never expected.We have to learn how to prioritize our life and give attention to what matters most when it is needed.
Don't allow yourself to be influenced wrongly, else you pay dearly for it.
It shows clearly that the women with queen Vashti were not of noble characters and never had her interest at heart, because if they do, at least one among them would have called her to caution.
