DIVINE HEALTH IS YOUR BIRTHRIGHT

Good health is the springboard for progress and achievement 111 life, which is why it is crucial to all. The Psalmist acknowledges this, and so is thankful to God for his healing. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy
diseases.

• Psalm 103:2-3

God's wish for you is sound health. He makes this very clear in 3 John 2:
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

God is as interested in you being healthy as He is in you being saved and prosperous. Unfortunately, however, some Christians think the Lord is trying to teach them lessons when they fall sick. No! God's desire for His children is that they live a sickness-free life; that is, a life that is completely free of all forms of sicknesses and diseases. In fact, that was why Jesus came. The Bible sheds more light on this:
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. - Acts 10:38
God anointed Jesus, so He can heal all those that were oppressed with sickness by the devil. If it were God's will for you to be sick, Jesus won't go about healing the same people He wants sick, as a kingdom divided against itself cannot stand. Jesus cannot be healing the sick if sickness was from God! Sickness is not God's will for you! Satan is the root cause of sicknesses and diseases, and he goes about deceiving men, trying to make them believe it is from God. But I have news for you! The Bible says:
for this purpose the Son of God Was manifested, that be might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8 came to destroy the works of the devil in your life (sickness) and to set you free! God Himself said, "I am the

Lord that healeth thee" (Ex 15:26). your Father is your Healer and Deliverer! He is the solution to all your problems, the cause. After the salvation of your soul, the next most important thing to God is the salvation of your body. You must know this, understand it and walk in its consciousness; otherwise, the devil will keep robbing you of your birthright of divine health and healing.

OUR Covenant Access

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree. Galatians 3:13

God's solution for sickness and diseases is wrapped up in the mystery of salvation. It is interesting to note that Jesus could have forgiven our sins without having to go to the cross, because the atonement for sin only required His blood, which He could have shed through any other form of death.

But Jesus had to go to the cross in order to establish a covenant of sound health for mankind.

We understand from Deuteronomy 28.•15-61 that every sickness and disease is a curse of the law. Jesus, therefore went to the cross to avert that curse and to set us free from its effect. So every redeemed child of God is no longer under the law, and can now react against the operations of the law in their lives. First Peter 2:24 and Isaiah 53:5 tells us that by His stripes we were healed. By the two acts of Jesus hanging on the cross and receiving stripes on His back, He fully paid the price for our total health!

God is committed to your total health just as He was to the health of the children of Israel. The Bible tells us that the children of Israel journeyed through the wilderness for 40 years, and there was not one feeble person among their tribes in all these years! It was because Jehovah Rapha (the Lord that healeth) was in their midst (Ps. 105:37). The nights were chilly and cold, yet they did not suffer fever. The mosquitoes also had a field day on them, but none of them broke down with malaria. They were exposed to the harshest weather conditions and journeyed through the wilderness where wild beasts were in abundance. They trekked for 40 years, yet their legs were not swollen. Why? Jehovah Rapha was their covering. And God says, "I am the Lord, change not" (Mal. 3:6). That same God is your God. It, therefore, means you too can enjoy divine health as they did of old!
