Philippians 3:13-14
“Brethren,I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do,forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
Hello everyone, trust you are good. Been a while I last posted in here. Feels good to be here again. Enjoy the short piece and remain blessed like you've always been.
Once you step out of the past it's important you don't keep looking over your shoulder to see if it's following you.
Even if you have never had one bad thing happen to you in life,or you have been completely delivered from every negative memory you ever had you still need to pray to be free of your past. That's because even the good things of your past can keep you from allowing God to do a new thing now. If we get locked into what we did before,we may miss what God wants to do now. He will never allow us to rest on past success.
"I guarantee that no matter how old you are,God has something new He wants to do in your life."
Ask him to show you what that is .Tell him you want to run in such a way so that you will obtain the prize.
(1Cor 9:24)
In conclusion
Good runners look forward and keep focused on the goal.
