Our vision for 2020 Guidance and counselling Activities, Also a recap from recent session.
Miracles signs and wonders from above in the name of Jesus Christ the son of the living God
The other day injustice shared briefly what happened in our session of guidance and counselling in God Mark high school in central Uganda. As usual we don't take it for granted that God is doing mighty wonders and great things in the hearts of his people
One thing I know and have learnt about God is that he is interested in some one repenting than just receiving a physical and material miracle. And I know that salvation is the best and greatest miracle before God.
Many people yearn for material and physical miracles. These are not bad because all of us need miracles daily, however, the transformation of the heart and being in right standing with God is something that puts a smile on the face of Jesus Christ.
Testimony from one student:
- Wow, thank you for coming to talk to us. I have been blessed and have learnt about from you guys. I am also born again and I love dancing and always do practice. I was blessed by the way you people danced.
What happened while there?
Usually we ask them to write down questions but this time, we didn't because we had less time. So we just shared our testimonies of where God picked us from, how he delivered us from addictions of pornography and masturbation and drugs.
So the students were touched because we share with our life stories and not just words or theory that we just read out. Therefore, we have seen an impact of our counselling on our society as a whole. Lives are being transformed and impacted and many are feeling hope and love again in their hearts and families.
After the session, usually forgive their offenders and reconcile with them. Even the school administrationhas been blessed and always tell us to go back next time..
What next
- Next year in 2020, we are planning to take our counselling to another level. We look forward to register the organization to a national and even international level. We want to cross boarders so we can have a wider and broader impact.
- Shall be making short video clips of sharing the stories and posting them probably on our social media platforms because we have only been sharing pictures.
- Looking forward for any support to continue carrying out these outreaches since we just do them voluntarily without any pay. We do them out of love-the agape love of Christ.
