Jesus The Bread Of Life

I am telling you the truth" Jesus said "what Moses gave you was not the bread from heaven, it is my father who gives you the real bread from heaven. For the bread that God gives is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world. "Sir," they asked him, "give us this bread always" "I am the bread of life "Jesus told them. "Those who come to me will never be hungry , those who believe in me will never be thirsty. John 6:32-35

Thousand of centuries before this time, people believed so much in the prophets and saw them as the ultimate after God. God used them to perform so many miracle in their present. Though Many prophets wrote about Jesus, they had no expectations he was to come in human form or were ignorant of how he was to come. Knowing his earthly parents made it harder for them to accept him as the Son of God or the one whom the prophets wrote about. Jesus called Himself "the bread of life" this means there are different types of bread eaten by men. Some to quench hunger, some to nourish the body, some that leads to death ,some that ruins ones life but just one bread among the rest gives life and which is "Jesus". But to reach to this bread, one needed to believe him as the son of God whom is a way to the father and ready to suffer persecution, pain , disappointment for his sake.

One problem about believers is that we are more focused on the bread that quench thirst rather than the bread that give life. Our earthly body has subjected us into it own needs rather than focusing on the heavenly needs/bread. Until we realized why we were created as believers, we would still find it hard to submit to God completely. The primary reason for our creation was not to accumulate wealth, have fine wears, eat the best food or drink the best wine, The primary reason for our creation was to praise and worship God sincerely and genuinely but the devil had tried to hinder such communion by putting in the idea into men that the bread that leads to death is more suitable .

Until we get in touch with Jesus, we are far away from life, life eternal.

It was by faith that people of ancient times won God approval. Hebrews 11:2.

Faith is all you need to win God's approval, yes, we might not have encounter Jesus by sight , but that doesn't mean he isn't around us knocking for us to open the door for him. Sometimes we might perceive his warning to be strong , non-loving or inconsiderate, especially when it comes to his commandments that contain the "thou shall not" but no, He's our creator and loves us more than any one could. He wishes us an expected end and so urges us to go the right path.

Come to Him , he who is heaven laden and He will give you rest, his yoke are light and easy. Every Good thing comes from just him. There is nothing we wish for that he wouldn't give, most times it's a matter of us to wait while he select the best for us.

"Jesus is the bread of life" eat of him daily and you will hunger no more. Drink of him daily and you will thirst no more.
