VENEZUELA: THERE IS STILL MERCY

in #steemchurch6 years ago (edited)

My dear brothers @sc-v, in these moments that we are living in our nation it is important to know that we must place our eyes on Jesus. Tonight's message for the people who believe in God and fear his name: "There is still mercy".

Psalm 46: 1-3

God is our refuge and strength,
Our early aid in tribulations.
Therefore, we will not fear, even if the earth is removed,
And the mountains are transferred to the heart of the sea;
Though they may tremble and be troubled,
And the mountains tremble because of their braveness. Selah

Today, several states of our nation were shaken by an earthquake with an approximate magnitude of 7.3 according to reports from the United States Geological Survey (USGS, for its acronym in English).

The most affected states Sucre, Anzoategui and Nueva Esparta. There is much anguish and confusion in the population, not only because of this telluric movement but because of the things that are happening in Venezuela.

The word of God speaks a lot about these events, in fact when Jesus died an earthquake, when Paul and Silas were in jail, the earth also trembled. We can quote some biblical texts:

Psalm 68: 8

the earth trembled; the heavens also spilled before the presence of God; the Sinai itself {trembled} before God, the God of Israel.

Jeremiah 10:10

But the LORD is the true God; He is the living God and the eternal King. Before their anger the earth trembles, and the nations are powerless before their indignation.

Psalm 104: 32

He looks at the earth, and she trembles; touch the mountains, and they smoke.

Job 9: 6

who shakes the earth from its place, and its pillars tremble;

Psalm 60: 2
You have made the earth tremble, you have cleft it; He cleans his clefts, because he staggers.

Psalm 75: 3 - New International Version
When the earth trembles with all its inhabitants, it is I who affirm its columns. '

Venezuela is going through a process, but in the midst of that situation we can see the hand of God, it is not by chance that today, before all the changes that are being generated, the earth has trembled, we must be understood in our spirit and listen what God is talking about, even he has mercy for his people where his name is invoked, we must repent of our evil ways and seek God, our hearts must be circumcised, God is calling a nation to turn to him with all his mind , with all your heart, with all your soul.

We have seen with pain as in the middle of the crisis, humanity remains in an attitude of arrogance, pride, hatred, God is waiting for the conscience and hearts to return to him. We have no other way out, or better option, God is the solution for Venezuela, only his powerful hand can work a miracle as he did with the people of Israel in antiquity. Only Jesus can set us free!

As biblical Christians we can not be blind or deaf to what happens around us. The Lord made it very clear what the world would be like and even the church itself just before the departure of the saved into His presence.

The word earthquake appears about 18 times in the Bible, the biblical meaning has two aspects, the physical one that produces on earth and the emotional one that it produces in men.
In Hebrew: "raásh"; to undulate (like the earth, the sky, etc., also a field of grain), particularly through fear; jump (like lobster): - move, shake, intimidate, make tremble, upset.

In Greek: "seismós"; concussion, (of air) blast, (of earth) earthquake: -wind, storm, earthquake.

Jesus defines the work of Satan in John 10.10: "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it in abundance. "The earthquakes were known among the people of Israel because of their sin in the promised land.

In Luke 21, 11 he said: "And there will be great earthquakes, and in different places famines and pestilences; and there will be terror and great signs from heaven. "Not only the earth, but even the space itself is a source of concern, there are meteorites that flying in the space close to the earth, it is feared that in the not too distant future there will be an impact of unimaginable proportions.

The earthquakes are not only signs of judgment but also of liberation, in the prison of Philippi where Paul and Silas were imprisoned after having tortured them by means of the blows in the backs there was an earthquake that brought liberation: "Suddenly a great earthquake, in such a way that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened, and the chains of all were released. "(Acts of the Apostles 16.26).

People of God, it's time to bend your knees.
We know that God listens from heaven, today once again he had mercy for us, kept our lives and gives us the opportunity to repent, conquer souls and proclaim his name, there is a promise for the children of Jehovah:
Psalm 91: 7
"A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but you will not come. "

Where do we find the inner strength to withstand fears, tragedies, disasters and attacks? How far can we count on God?

God is the Creator of the universe and is willing to know Him. It is for this reason that we are all here. It is your desire that we trust in Him and have the experience of His power, love, justice, holiness and compassion. So He is saying to all who want, "Come to me."

Unlike human beings, God knows what will happen tomorrow, next week, next year, the next decade.

He says, "I am God, and there is no one like me, I declare the end at the beginning" 1 He knows what is going to happen in the world. And even more importantly, you know what is going to happen to you throughout your life and wants to be in it with you, if you choose to make it part of your life. God says it can be our "refuge and strength, help in time of trial" 2 But it is necessary that we make a sincere effort to seek Him.

He says, "You will seek Me and you will find Me when you will seek Me with all your heart." 3 This does not mean that those who know God will not live difficult moments. When a terrorist attack occurs that causes suffering and death, those who know God also suffer. But there is a peace and a strength that only gives us the presence of God.

Today is a good day to reflect, be better people and look again at Jesus! He is our hope!

My beloved brothers, let us humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God, let us not fear, he will hear us from the heavens ... let us help him to look with his eyes, remember that the darker the night is closer to the dawn. Venezuela will see the glory of God, it's just a process, let's be calm. God does not abandon his people.

I hope all our loved ones in Venezuela are okay.

I tend to agree with the premise of this post. Our heavenly father is expecting a change there and expecting a change very soon.

I imagine it is time for the first to be last and the last to be first.

Be always humble, yet vigilant.

SirKnight.

He who have the word across his heart never fears anything. Brothers let us humble ourselves and definitely the Lord will deliver us.

Although I am far away from Venezuela, my heart goes with you, I pray to the Lord to take care of them and protect them. Always giving those messages of encouragement and struggle for the people of God apostle @darlenys01 May God take care of you, keep giving you life and wisdom to guide us

Apostle Darlenys as a good leader has spoken through @sc-v to give a word of encouragement to the confusion that is falling on the nation. While we keep the prayer, God is responsible for adjusting each piece in its place; both the tectonic plates, as well as the important policies and decisions in the Caribbean country. Greetings to all and be calm.

Remember always that in any situation you and I have a father who:
WHATEVER YOU PASS YOU WILL ALWAYS BE WITH US. God will never leave us. Strength and encourage Venezuelan brothers. I hope you are well Apostle @darlenys01 pray without ceasing.

1 Peter 5: 7
Casting all your anxiety on him, because he takes care of you.
Psalm 46: 1
God is our refuge and strength, Our early help in the tribulations.
Isaiah 43: 2
Do not fear, because I redeemed you; I named you, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and if by the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you pass through the fire, you will not be burned, nor will the flame burn in you.

God is our refuge and strength, Our early help in the tribulations. Therefore, we will not fear, although the earth is removed, and the mountains are transferred to the heart of the sea; Though the waters thereof may tremble and be troubled, and the mountains tremble because of their violence. Selah Of the river its streams gladden the city of God, The sanctuary of the dwellings of the Most High. God is in the midst of it; She will not be moved. God will help her by making the morning clear. The nations roared, the kingdoms quaked, He uttered his voice, the earth melted. The LORD of hosts is with us, our refuge is the God of Jacob. Selah
Psalm 46: 1-7

Earthquakes have always generated fear, in fact one of the things that brought me to the feet of Christ was the earthquake lived here in Venezuela, thank you for this beautiful message of encouragement apostle @darlenys01, God is with us in the days of testing and in the dark night.

Our Lord Jesus Christ teaches us in his Word that Earthquakes are part of the signs of the end times. These are included in the principles of sorrows before the Rapture of the Church and the beginning of the Tribulation (Matthew 24: 7-8). It is worth mentioning that signs such as Earthquakes have not only served to announce events prophesied in the Scriptures, but also for people to believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
