RE: Stemchurch - Day # 3: Blessed are the meek because they will receive the land by inheritance.
The first two characters that receive a blessing seem to be locked in on themselves. Man is poor in spirit; that relates to itself. His lamentation is his own personal crying that ends when he receives consolation. But meekness has to do with other people. It is true that he has a relationship with God, but the meekness of a man is especially related to his fellows. He is not simply meek inside; his meekness manifests in his dealings with others. One could not talk about a hermit who has never seen a human being, like someone tame; The only way you could check if it is gentle would be to put it with those who will prove their temperament.
