The second coming of Christ was prophesied in the Old Testament. Zechariah 14: 1-9 says, "Behold, the day of the Lord comes, and your spoil will be divided among you. For I will gather all the nations to fight against Jerusalem; and the city shall be taken, and houses shall be plundered, and women shall be ravished; and half of the city will go into captivity, but the rest of the town will not be cut off from the city. Then Jehovah will go out and fight with those nations, as he fought on the day of battle. And his feet will be established on that day on the Mount of Olives, which faces Jerusalem to the east, and the Mount of Olives will be divided in the middle, eastward and westward, making a very great valley; and half of the mountain will move to the north, and the other half to the south. And you will flee to the valley of the mountains, for the valley of the mountains will reach Azal; you will flee the way you fled because of the earthquake in the days of Uzziah, king of Judah; and the LORD my God will come, and with him all the saints. And it will happen that on that day there will be no clear or dark light. It will be a day, which is known to Jehovah, which will not be day or night; but it will happen that at the end of the afternoon there will be light. And it shall come to pass in that day, that living waters shall go forth from Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea, and the other half toward the western sea, in summer and in winter. And the Lord will be king over all the earth. In that day Jehovah will be one and one his name "
