Differences between Mercy and Grace.

Mercy and Grace have similar meanings, grace and mercy are not the same. To see the difference we see that, mercy is that God does not punish us as our sins deserve, and grace is that God bless us even though we do not deserve it. Mercy is the freedom of the judgment. Grace is kindness that extends to those who do not deserve it.
 

We have all sinned in some places and maybe we sin again and as a result of that sin, we all deserve death and eternal damnation.

Considering this, every day that we live is an act of God's mercy. If God gave us what we deserve, we would all be, right now, condemned for an eternity.

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord

In Psalm 51: 1-2, David cries out, "Have mercy on me, O God, according to your mercy; according to the multitude of your mercies he blots out my transgressions. Wash me more and more of my wickedness and cleanse me of my sin. "A plea to God for mercy is to ask him to stop the judgment we deserve, and instead grant us the forgiveness that we have not earned in any way.

Grace is simply an unmerited favor. God gives us good things that we do not deserve and that we could never earn. Rescued from the judgment by the mercy of God, grace is anything and everything we receive beyond that mercy. Common grace refers to the sovereign grace that God gives to all humanity, regardless of their spiritual condition before Him.

Mercy and grace are available through our Lord Jesus Christ. We deserve judgment, but if we receive Jesus Christ as Savior, we receive mercy from God, and we are freed from judgment and set apart from eternal damnation and instead of judgment, we receive by grace salvation, forgiveness of sins and an abundant life. By the mercy and grace of God, our response should be to fall on our knees in adoration and praise as thanks to God for all the things given and that are to come.
