How to walk with God

In trying to follow God with the same passion as Enoch, we learn some steps that will help us grow in our walk with the Lord.

This word means, essentially: "God moving towards us". The joy of this step is that it no longer depends on us; everything depends on Him. Through the cross of Jesus Christ, God has already taken the initiative to seek us (2 Co 5.18). When we put faith in the Savior, we are immediately part of that reconciliation.

Our heavenly Father wants us to know that he is interested in our spiritual growth. He also wants us to trust him, because in Christ, we have the means by which we can walk intimately by his side.
To value the intimacy that God wants to have with us, we must agree with what his Word teaches about his Son, the church and sin.
Just as our human relationships are undone without regular contact, our intimacy with the Father is weakened when we do not spend time with Him.
Walking with God is not an impossible mission, but it does require careful attention to the details of our spiritual life. If our course is towards God, He will always be there to direct our steps (Q. 16.9).
