There's this misconception among some christians that equate God's love for them based on the material things that he's able to give to them or that they're able to give to him. Prosperity messages have so taken over the lives of christians that holiness and faith is now measured by prosperity. God doesn't look at what we have or don't have before he can love us or answer our prayers. God is only looking at our hearts and our willingness to walk with him whether in plenty or in few. The salvation of our soul is what God is interested in. God can and will bless us if we ask, but he has to be sure that such a blessing will not take us away from him because our souls are what he is interested in. Thanks for sharing this wonderful message
