I think it's only a fool that lacks gratitude. My pastor always say that " everything you thank God for gets better". From your story, do you think that boy's dad will quickly rush to get him another phone should he lost the new one that he never appreciated him for? Everytime we fail to appreciate either man or almighty God for doing something spectacular for us, regardless of how small the thing may seem, we're indirectly shutting the door for more of such blessings.
