Knowing God
Sometimes we have questioned the wisdom of God, we wanted to tell him what to do, how to do it and when to carry it out, we have also said things that we can not understand, because maybe we have not yet met him closely.
There is no way to know God but close, if we follow him from afar it is very difficult to know him, but when we approach him, when we follow him closely, when we experience situations that test our faith, it is when more and better we know God
Job, one of the characters in the Bible who had to pass very, very difficult situations, knew God better in the midst of his problems and tribulations. He wrote something that really touches my heart and makes me reflect on the times that I myself have acted the same way, he said:
"Then Job answered God:
«I recognize your great power;
nobody can stop you
carry out your plans.
You ask who I am,
that being an ignorant
I have questioned your wisdom.
I admit that I said things
that I can not understand,
things that are wonderful
and that I do not really know.
"You said:
"Now I'm going to talk,
and you will listen to me. "
»What I used to know about you
It was what I had been told,
but now my eyes have seen you,
and I've got to know you. "
Job 42: 1-5 (Translation in current language)
Perhaps these days you have questioned the action of God, you may have said or thought things that really do not understand, perhaps the frustration of not seeing what you want to see has led you to complain or get angry for not receiving the answer would like to see, however today I want to tell you that God is infinitely wise, that He acts in the way that best considers that he has to act even when our finite mind does not understand their forms.
I am sure that what you are going through today will help you to know God better, sometimes without realizing that which, from our perspective, was a huge problem, was only a channel that helped us get closer to God and when we are closer to Him. we know better
I am sure that you and I, like Job, will say at the time: "What I knew about you was what I was told, but now my eyes have seen you, and I have come to know you." Job 42: 5 in Current Language).
Do not see your problem as something that will lead you to failure, but rather look at that problem as an opportunity to get to know God in one of its facets, because if one thing I am sure is that GOD WILL WORK IN YOUR LIFE.
Do not worry, your eyes will see the power of God and then you will know even more!
To know God, is to surrender unconditionally to him (Romans 12: 1).
