THE HOLY GHOST BAPTISM OF FIRE.....A necessity for christian growth

He shall baptize with Holy Ghost and with Fire

Now, in the Jewish dictionary/context, and means also
So in this verse, it says He shall baptize with the Holy Ghost, also Fire

See Acts 1:8
"Ye shall receive power after the Holy Ghost is come upon you"

Who is the power? Of course, the Holy Ghost is the power of God. Same with this Matt 3:11. The Holy Spirit will come, also as a Fire. Now, He comes as a spirit to live in you. He comes as power to fortify you. He comes as fire to set u ablaze - all for the Glory of God. The Holy Spirit will come upon a person as the Spirit of God, the Gentle spirit to live in a man, to keep you in alignment with God and teach you all things. But before you can make use of these things the Holy Spirit is bringing, you need to be quickened.

The Fire of the Holy Ghost quickens your spirit to activate that power in Acts 1:8
That is why in deliverance sessions when you hear Fire of the Holy Ghost, different things begin to happen. Demons begin to manifest. Why? The fire of the Holy Ghost, the Holy Ghost Himself can't reside where a demon is. The demon has to pave way and of course, God will overcome. This is to transfer the power
But in the baptism of fire, the Holy Spirit comes to rest upon a person to set him/her ablaze
To quicken the spirit and endue such person with power
Jesus Himself is the one dat does the baptism of Fire according to Matthew 3:11. This happens when you accept Him as your Lord and savior. The fire is there already but the Holy Ghost will have to quicken the fire.
For example. When you pour a powdered milk and water into a cup, you can drink the tea but it won't be sweet. You might not want to continue drinking it or rush the tea but when you put sugar, the tea becomes sweet that you might even want more. So the Holy Spirit is just like sugar for a tea. You can still do the works but you need something to propel you, to push you
That's why John mentioned the Holy Ghost and Fire
The Holy Ghost brings the fire
Truly, according to the verse, Jesus baptized with Holy Ghost and with Fire. That is self impartation - when you pray and Jesus Himself touches you without hands been laid upon you. But let's not talk on impartation, probably another time.
So the heart can be set ablaze for God. When your heart is ablaze, your spirit man is quickened. The Baptism of Fire is very important for every individual
