@princluv: I appreciate your view that we should not look for a better god. There is only one god. God has no shape or form and is all pervasive. It is with our limited understanding and perception that we try to give god an identity, a shape and form. God is a beyond all that. We humans try to fit god into one identity mainly for us to get comfortable with the idea of god as one superior being among us. It is completely based on our upbringing, our cultural influence and how we have perceived god from all this. I come from a land where we have been taught “Ekam sat Vipra Bahudha Vadanti” which literally means (Truth is one; sages call it by various names.). It is for this we have to see god in every form be it animate or inanimate. You will see that in India we have an elephant god, monkey god, snake god, mouse god etc,. not because they are different gods, it is because there is an essence of god in every being.
