STEEMCHURCH: GREAT RESPONSIBILITY
Hello friends, this message is for all Steemchurch Community leaders, Apostles, Parishioners, ministers and all Believers. I was inspired to write this for you. Be blessed as you read.
Israel had been ravished, potentially violated. She was defenseless and her natural resources pillaged.
But one man took it upon himself to rebuild the ruins of the nation. He was Nehemiah, the cupbearer of the King of Babylon.
King James Version of Nehemiah chapter 7 Verse 4 says
Now that the city was large and great: but the people were few therein and the houses were not builded.
Many people who find themselves in positions of great responsibilities, often times see such scenarios as afflictions. The courage to face such demanding task is not just there. If they have been asking God for a breakthrough in life and such things now appear; they see them as setbacks.
After Nehemiah had built the walls and gates of Jerusalem, he discovered that there was still much to be done. He did not despair. He saw it as an opportunity for others to join him. He called on his brother Hanani, and Hananiah the ruler of the palace to take charge of Jerusalem.
He also found the register of all the families of Israel even those that were taken as captives. They were all called back to take their lands and positions in Israel(Nehemiah 7:5-73).
Thus the nation was re-inhabited by the initiative of one man. This also led to a great revival and reconciliation with God. Nehemiah's efforts were not in vain(Nehemiah chapters 8, 9, 10 and 11)
Trust in God and be determined to give it all it will require. You never can tell if God will use the task as the parameter to your promotion. Nehemiah's efforts yielded fruits for him. He became the first Governor of Judah at their return from captivity.
King James Version of Luke 12:48 says
For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
Don't shy away from responsibilities. They are to bring out the best in you.
Put in your best today.
God is taking the records.

There is more blessing to rebuild what has devastated, if the idea of that restructuring comes, remember that you are not alone working, but you with God in Spirit. Thanks for this wonderful post
Glad to have you back Sis
Well done @queengift!
Amen! In whatever way our Lord has led us ... And no matter what the outcome may be, for ultimately the outcome is not up to us, but up to Him. For His eternal glory and honor, which we may never clearly see or fully understand, until we are in eternity with our Lord and "all is made known" ...
Until we "meet" again, may His grace rest upon you and yours, as we grow stronger in walking by faith.
Hebrews 11:6
