Nobody wants to listen to someone speaking sour and bitter words. There is a saying that says, "Where your mind is, that is where your heart is."

The Word of God in Matthew 12:34b says:

For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

In Proverbs 4:23 we are instructed:

Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.

Let us be careful, the Lord is warning us:

But as for those whose heart goes after their detestable things and their abominations, I will bring their deeds upon their own heads, says the Lord God.

WE SHOULD ALWAYS CHOOSE TO SPEAK KIND AND GRACIOUS words, because they are far more precious than gold, sweet to the soul and bring healing to the bones and to the body.

There are times we speak words we don't mean out of pressure or frustration. We at times speak words that have adverse effects on our lives and the lives of our loved ones.
But, we are instructed to speak life into our lives because, our lives are controlled by our words.

As Followers of Christ, we should only speak positive words.
No matter how upset we feel, we should control our words and not speak harshly to others.

We should always speak kind and gracious words that will minister grace and peace to all those who hear it.
For we are Christ-like beings and should think, speak and act like Christ.
