Ephraim is a Cake unturned - Hosea 7:8.

Many of us are like Ephraim, a cake unturned, (have baked) because of the way we can be manoeuvered cheaply, especially at this time of scarcity of 'money'. Many women now marry more than one husband. Native doctors now bill their customers in foreign currencies. Many students in higher institutions go there for 'business'. Some useless Fathers sleeping with their daughters, house helps, and some housewives sleeping with their drivers, and bosses in the office. The LORD wants us to turn from our evil ways, even as a nation, as families.

Many of us know how to mix cake before baking. We know that if not properly baked, it will turn out to be of no value, it is then good for nothing. The Almighty God has described such people who still go to 'Egypt', as a cake unturned. In v. 9 - "Aliens have devoured his strength but he does not know it; yes, gray hairs are here and there on him, yet he does not know it, v.10, And the pride of Israel testifies to his face, but they do not return to the LORD their GOD, nor seek HIM for all this.

This means that there is nothing that we do in the secret that the Almighty God is not aware of. The LORD, so merciful to His Creation wants us to return to Him in repentance. There are some self acclaimed 'pastors' who give evil visions and prophecies, involved in so many rituals and incantations, misinterpreting the Bible just to accumulate wealth, the LORD has grouped them as a cake unturned, (two sided human beings).

Many of us are always thinking of how we can make quick and fast money. Not caring of the outcome whether good or bad. Traders who cheat by using cunning measurements and all manner of devices to gain more than necessary, are also a cake unturned.

In all of these, Romans 3:10 - As it is written: "There is none righteous, no, not one".

We therefore O, LORD, ask You to please help us as Your Creation to dwell in our hearts, and help us from sinning against You as You with-held Abimelech from sinning against You - Genesis 20:6.
