Grace to remain focus on what matters

The administrators and the satraps tried to find grounds for charges against Daniel … Finally these men said, "We will never find any basis for charges against this man Daniel unless it has something to do with the law of his God." *Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home .. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before.

The major purpose of many trials and attacks that come our way is to distract us and move us away from focusing on thinking, speaking and acting the way that God wants us to; for example, to make us stop thinking and speaking words of faith and love. It is when we yield to the attack by losing our focus from God that we become vulnerable to the devil.

Ephesians 6:11 - 14 the Bible says “put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;”

The aim of the devil's attack is to move you away or to make you trip and fall from a certain spiritual position or stance. The attack may be coming through human beings but it is actually the devil trying to manipulate us through them. Do not be moved, Psa.16:8. Stay in faith and in love and keep saying what God says about you.

I pray you receive God's grace not to be distracted out of the path of faith and love by what you may be going through right now.
