" For He Is Our Peace Who Hath Made Both One, And Hath Broken Down The Middle Wall Of Partition Between Us"[Eph.2:14].

Peace Is Freedom From All Forms Of Disturbance And A State Of Quietness. It Is The Most Priced Possession Of Christians And Was Held Out As A Veritable Evidence Of Our Reconciliation With God Through Christ (Romans 5:1).

Peace To The Believers Is Not So Much As The Absence Of Things That Tear Hearts Apart Like War,Famine,Economic Downturns And Tragedies, As The Composure And Calm In The Face Of Such Calamities Through The Presence Of The Holy Spirit Working Within.

"And The Peace Of God, Which Passeth All Understanding..." (Philipians 4:7).

The Peace Which Is Produced As The Fruit Of The Spirit Is A Means By Which The Believers Are Known To Have Maintained Their Calm And Quietness Even In The Midst Of A Fiery Furnace .
It Is The Peace Built On Solid Awareness That Our God Rules Over All Things, And That His Will For Us Which Is Best, And Which Carries A Promise Of Fulfillment Will Prevail.

• In Face Of Dangers -isaiah 26:3

•when Loved Ones Are Far Away - Isaiah 57:19

•when Confronted By Needs - Philipians 4:19

•even When The Worst Situations Stares Us In Face And There Seem To Be No Way Out Of It -job 13:15, Daniel 3:17,18.

Factors That Threaten External Peace
•physical War,Physical Sickness

•physical And Mental Pressure

•physical Threats And Intimidation

Here,The Most Fragile Situation And Smallest Problem ,Like Having To Sleep In A Mosquito Infested Room,Can Destroy The Fibre Of A Peace Which Is Built On The Head And Not Rooted In The Heart. Though This Level Of Peace Is To Be Equally Desired ,Unfortunately,This Is The Type Of Peace Which May Have Substituted For Real One Promised By God.

Yet, There Are Factors That Threatens The Real,Internal Peace
•fear - 1 John 4:18

•worry And Anxiety - Matthew 6:31, 32.

•sin - Proverb 13:15; Isaiah 48:23; 57:20,21.

•guilty Conscience - Genesis 3:8; 4:6,7.

While Most Of The External Factors Which Threaten Our Peace May Be Outside Our Control, God Expect Us To Anchor Our Souls Upon His Words And Draw From The Provision Of The Cross To Fortify Ourselves Against Forces That Rob Man Of His Peace.

Promoting All - Round Peace

• Avoid Unhealthy Competition, Especially In House Of God

•tolerance, Endurance And Unity - Where There Is Suspicion And Distrust , War Is Inevitable

•love And Forgiveness Is Key

•contentment

•knowledge Of The Word Of God

•knowing Exactly What The Word Of God Is Saying About A Situation ,There Will Be Calmness And Confidence, Except In The Case Of Willful Disobedience.

How To Find Peace

•by Accepting The Lord Jesus As Our Lord And Saviour.
There Can Be No Peace With God Until A Person Knows And Accept Jesus Christ, The Prince Of Peace As His Personal Saviour From Sin (Romans 5:1).

• By Trusting God.
Isaiah 26:3 Says " Thou Will Keep In Perfect Peace, Whose Mind Is Stayed On Thee;Because He Trusted In Thee". Peace Comes By Committing All Those Anxieties Unto God For Solution.

•by Seeking And Ensuring Peace.
1 Peter 3:11 Says Follow Peace With All Men - Heb. 12 :14 ; In The Neighbourhood , Family , Church, Working Place ,Etc.

•read The Word Of God Always.

• Pray For Peace Always.

•by Prompt Obedience To The Institution / Commandment Of God.

Isaiah 48:18 - Never Argue With God On His Word. Believe God And His Word. Carry It Out Immediately Thereby Shall Peace Come To You.

As Believers We Should Know And Understand That The Word Cannot Know Peace Except It Allows The Prince Of Peace To Mann Its Affairs. The Theory Of The Universal Peace Will Thus Remain An Illusion While All The Promise Of Achievements Along This Line Will Become Empty And Baseless.
However, There Is Sure Provision For The Church And Individuals Within Her To Rise Above The Problem Of Our Present World As We Enthrone Jesus And Make Him The Lord Of Our Lives. " These Things I Have Spoken Unto You , That In Me Ye Might Have Peace. In The World ,Ye Shall Have Tribulation: But Be Of Good Cheer; I Have Overcome The World".(John 16:33).
