THE KING IS COMING.

Before the king finally arrived the village
On his second visit announce his kingdom plans.
Every one, young and the aged have heard from the town crier
Several meetings were held by heads of families,
Heads of youth groups and age grades
Women leaders and opinion molders.

The only agenda for discussion was preparations for the visit of the king.
There were so many things to be done:
The huts needed to be decorated
The security needed to be tightened
The warriors’ weapons needed to be polished
The entertainment needed to be prepared………….and many more

Every body has one or two things to do in readiness for the king’s visit
No one is left out
The young and the elderly,
The big and the small,
The poor and the rich
The whole village was agog with activities.
The drummers and dancers, rehearsing their entertainment.
After all the king is coming.
Everybody is involved in preparation for the man king’s visit.

However, may I announce the return of the KING of KINGS
Who is not just coming for a people but peoples of the entire earth in accordance with scriptures.

The bible records that this same Jesus Christ is coming back again in like manner as he was seen go into heaven.

Acts 1:10-11

”And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes, 11 and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”

JESUS CHRIST’S in two fold. First he came to announce his kingdom and to establish it. He did this by coming the first time to liberate those held bound by the rebel kingdom of darkness of Satan.

Colossians 1:13 (AMP)

For He has rescued us and has drawn us to Himself from the dominion of darkness, and has transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son.

To accomplish this literally is the reason for his second coming. Christ himself announced that he is coming back soon.

Now if the people in my story thus prepared for the coming of a mortal king who when he died is buried and forgotten, how much should they prepare for the coming of CHRIST THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

His coming is like no other. He is coming for a prepared people. He is coming with rewards to give to every man according to his works.

The first step to preparing for the coming of Christ the KING OF KINGS
is by acknowledging that he is the only savior of your soul.
Inviting Him into your life as your Lord and turning from your sinful ways.
In him you draw strength to live for him daily in right standing with him.

Amos 4:1

"Therefore thus I will do to you, O Israel; Because I will do this to you, Prepare to meet your God, O Israel." (NASB)

Matthew 24:44

Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.(ESV)
