Breaking diabolical forces
Breaking diabolical forces
First of all, I thank God for the opportunity he has given me to return to write in this space and for all those people who in some way or another receive these blessings in the name of Jesus thanks and #flaminghelpers, #god for your job
(Habakkuk 1:10)
David was a good man. He was creative, strong, brave. He was a man of extraordinary musical talent and songwriter. He was a natural leader. But there was a generational curse in his life, a problem of lust that arose from time to time.
Everyone around David apparently knew this problem. In fact, the bible says that when David grew old and his body did not warm up, his servants brought him a young virgin to lie on his chest and keep him warm. "His deer told him, therefore, look for a young virgin for my lord the king, so that he may stand before the king and keep him warm, and sleep beside him, and my lord the king will warm up" (1 Kings 1: two). His servants said, indeed, "If being with this young woman does not revive King David, there will be nothing to accomplish it. If he does not feel anything when he's with her, he's probably already dying. "
David's generational sin was transmitted to Ammon, who had a spirit of lust for his sister Tamar. He took her to his bedroom and raped her. The Bible says that when David learned what Ammon had done to Tamar, he became very angry ... but Ammon did not say anything to him. What could I say? His son was just like him. His very spirit of lust had been transmitted to his son (see Samuel 13).
Lust is not a desire, a fantasy, or a whim. It's a sin. When a pattern of malignant behavior passes from one generation to another, it becomes what the bible calls a "strength." A spirit of evil is passed on from generation to generation until it finally becomes a strength in the life of a man. He can not be free of this simply because he wants to be free or expect to be free. Only Jesus can make this man free.
Many men can look back on their family's history, and see an evil spirit at work in their family, generation after generation.
• Daddy gets drunk a lot ... and grandpa also did it ... and great-grandfather did it too.
• Daddy cheated on mom, and grandpa cheated on grandma, and great-grandfather did it too.
• My father had a bad temper, also my grandfather, and my great-grandfather too.
Sometimes a man can see a pattern of abuse and sin and evil coming to him from both branches of his tree and sin and evil coming to him from both branches of his family tree. Not only is the paternal grandfather who was full of anger, but also the maternal grandfather. Or a man may know nothing of his grandparents or great-grandparents, and perhaps even of his father's behavior, but he may observe a particular pattern of unbridled conduct among his brothers, uncles, and cousins. His family has been infected with an evil spirit.
When Jesus commanded the demons that afflicted the man who dwelt in the tombs to tell him what they were called, the demons answered "legion, because we are many" (Mark 5: 9).
Very often, the demonic oppression in our lives has many facets, it has many names simultaneously. The spirit is not one of lust, but of anger, emotional abuse and poverty. When you combine various types of demonic oppression, the mooring is multiplied over the life of a person.
A spiritual strength is not what you can throw out of your life drinking, smoking, cursing, fighting, arguing or many implores. What you can do is throw it out of your life!
Before going to the judge ...
Before going to the rehabilitation center ...
Before going to the counselor ...
Go to God.
Go to the altar and ask God to break that strength in your life. You may need help to learn how to express yourself, but first of all, you need God's help to break the spiritual oppression that holds you in its grip.
If you do not break the spiritual strength that is in your life, your sons and daughters will be victims of it. Put your hand on your son and your daughter and say ...
• Do not let the same things that have infected me infect another generation.
• Do not let the same abuse be passed on to my children.
• You could be an excellent husband.
• You could be an excellent father.
• You could be an outstanding employee.
• You could be an effective witness
What keeps you away from all this? Name that strength and ask God to break it in your life.
Make Jesus the Lord above all
that has dominion over you.
that has dominion over you.
