How to Tell Whether Demons Are Meddling Inside You

광활한 우주에 떠 있는 별자리 중에서 아직 한 번도 사람들의 눈에 띄지 않은 별을 발견하여 천체학회에 보고한다면, 많은 사람들의 찬사를 받으며 그 별에 자신의 이름을 붙일 수 있는 영광을 차지할 겁니다.
Let's say you found a star no one has noticed before. If you make reports and research papers regarding this new star and submit it to the astronomical society, you would have the honor to name the star you found after your name.

그러나 그 별의 존재를 사람들이 알아보든지 아니든지 간에, 세상 사람들이 살아가는 데에는 별 영향을 끼치지 않을 것이죠.
But whether people know about the star or not, it would not affect their lives greatly.

저는 오늘, 이들에 대해 알아채지 못한다면, 여러분의 삶에 가장 지대한 영향을 미치는 존재에 대해 말씀드리고자 합니다.
I would like to talk to you about beings that would greatly affect your life if you are not aware of them.

그 존재의 이름은 귀신이에요.
They are called "demons," "evil spirits," or "ghosts."

“아하, 귀신이요?” 그렇게 내뱉으며, 대단한 것을 기대했는데 실망스러워하는 여러분의 심정을 모르는 바가 아닙니다.
"Oh, ghosts," you might say with disappointment, as you may have expected something more exciting and innovative.

왜 그럴까요? 여러분이 귀신에 대해서 아는 게 별로 없어도, 여러분이 그들을 무시할 만큼 우습게 여기기 때문입니다.
Why is that? It is probably because you don't consider their existence too seriously, although you don't know a lot about them.

그러나 여러분이 어떻게 여기든지 간에, 성경은 그들이 무시무시한 존재라고 말하고 있습니다.
But no matter how serious you consider them, the Bible says they are scary beings that we all should be aware of.

그렇지만 우리네 교회는 귀신을 별로 알고 싶어 하지 않습니다. 그래서 더욱 무시무시한 존재예요.
But churches today don't really want to know more about them. And that makes them even scarier.

귀신들이 우리네 교회지도자와 교인들의 마음과 생각에서 지워버리게 할 만큼 교묘하게 조종하는 놀라운 능력의 괴물이기 때문이죠.
It is because they have the power and ability to deceive and control people’s minds without us even noticing.

우리의 씨름은 혈과 육을 상대하는 것이 아니요 통치자들과 권세들과 이 어둠의 세상 주관자들과 하늘에 있는 악의 영들을 상대함이라(엡6:12)
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 6: 12)

그 때에 너희는 그 가운데서 행하여 이 세상 풍조를 따르고 공중의 권세 잡은 자를 따랐으니 곧 지금 불순종의 아들들 가운데서 역사하는 영이라(엡2:2)
In which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. (Ephesians 2: 2)

성경은 악한 영들이 바로 세상의 권세를 잡고 있는 통치자들이라고 말하고 있습니다.
The Bible states that the demons are rulers of this world.

그들은 막강한 영적 능력을 가지고 사람들을 포로로 잡아 지배하고 있다고 밝히고 있죠.
It says they have the spiritual powers to rule over people.

그러나 여러분은 성경에서 어떤 말을 해도 눈 하나 깜짝하지 않을 겁니다.
You may not even blink at what the Bible says about them.

자신은 하나님의 자녀이기에, 귀신들이 자신을 어떻게 할 수 없다고 철썩 같이 믿고 있기 때문이죠.
Probably because you believe you are a child of God; you believe demons have no power to meddle with you.

귀신들이 사로잡고 있는 사람들은 죄인이며, 하나님이 다스리는 사람들은 의인입니다.
Demons have control over sinners, and God reigns in righteous people.

그래서 여러분은 죄와 피터지게 싸워 승리하고 있으며, 하나님께 의인이라고 인정 받으셨습니까?
So have you been approved by God for your righteousness? Do you fight against sins every moment of your life?

제가 인터넷 포털사이트에 크리스천 영성학교 카페를 열고, 충주 영성학교를 운영하며 성령이 내주하는 기도훈련 사역을 시작한지 2년 6개월의 시간이 흘렀습니다.
It has been a little over 2 and a half years since I have opened CSA website and founded the school to train people.

그동안 천명이 넘는 사람들이 기도훈련을 요청하였으며, 그중에서 백여 명이 넘는 사람이 졸업을 하였고 영성학교 공동체에 몸담고 있는 사람들도 백여 명이 넘었습니다.
More than 1000 people asked to be trained, over 100 people graduated from our program, and there are a lot of people building community around CSA now.

이 사역을 하면서 제가 가장 놀란 사실은, 저를 찾아온 사람의 70% 이상이 귀신들이 몸에 잠복하고 있다는 것입니다.
What surprised me the most was that about 70% of people who look for help have demons hiding inside them.

저를 찾아온 사람들은 예외 없이 크리스천들이고, 교회에서 10% 안에 들 정도로 신앙생활을 열정적으로 하는 사람들입니다.
People who came for help were all Christians, really religious, hard working Christians at that.

그렇데 어떻게 귀신들이 몸에 잠복해 있을 수 있는지 당혹스러웠습니다.
And I was flabbergasted to see so many demons, wondering how that would be possible.

물론 귀신이 몸에 잠복한 증상이 없는 사람들도 귀신의 공격을 받으며 그 영향력 하에 있는 사람들입니다.
Of course, people who don't have those symptoms are still attacked by demons and may be under their influence.

말하자면 거의 모든 크리스천들이 죄다 귀신의 지배하에 고통스럽게 살고 있다는 결론을 내리게 된 거죠.
So I have come to a conclusion that almost all Christians suffer under demons' control.

그러나 이글을 읽는 여러분은 제 주장을 믿지 못할 겁니다.
But it is just hard to believe, I know.

그래서 오늘은 귀신을 분별하는 아주 쉬운 방법을 알려드리겠습니다.
So I would like to tell you how to tell these demons apart.

저는 충주에 영성학교를 시작하기 전에 약 3년 동안 성령으로부터 귀신과 싸워 축출하는 훈련을 받았습니다.
I was trained 3 years prior to the opening of CSA; I was trained to fight against demons and drive them out.

제가 그동안 칼럼으로 쓴 귀신에 대한 정보도, 성령으로부터 들었던 것이 주축으로 자리 잡고 있죠.
The columns I have uploaded online are based on what I have heard from the Holy Spirit as well.

그러나 말이 중요한 것이 아니라 팩트로 증명해야 하지 않겠습니까?
But how important can the words be, if it cannot be proven through action?

저는 그동안 수백 명의 사람들에게서 귀신을 쫓아내었으며, 지금도 매일처럼 이 사역을 하고 있는 중이에요.
I have driven out demons out from hundreds of people, and I still carry on the ministry today.

그러므로 귀신과 최전선에서 싸워보지 않은 사람들은 제 말을 이해할 수도 받아들일 수도 없는 게 당연할 지도 모르겠습니다.
And I guess it is hard for people to believe what I say because they have not seen anything like this before.

귀신이 잠복해있는 증거로 손꼽는 것이 정신질환입니다.
The primary proof of demons residing in people is mental disorder.

불면증으로부터 우울증, 조울증, 강박증, 조현증(정신분열) 등이며 어린아이들에게 많이 발생되는 ADHD, 틱장애 등이며, 각박한 현대사회에서 이러한 정신질환이 빠른 속도로 늘어나고 있는 추세이죠.
Insomnia, depression, manic-depression, schizophrenia, ADHD, and Tourette's Syndrome are part of it, and these types of illnesses tend to increase in number these days.

불행하게도, 정신질환은 완치라는 게 거의 없죠.
Unfortunately, there is no such thing as 'cure.'

치료는 받으면서 호전과 악화를 반복하고 있으며, 증세가 심한 사람은 독한 약을 많이 복용시킵니다.
People can get treated for such illnesses, but they never seem to completely free; and people with severe condition are usually medicated.

정신과질환 약들은 정신활동을 둔화시키기 때문에 오래 복용하면 정신능력이 현저하게 약화됩니다.
These medication usually sedates people, and their minds become dull.

정신질환은 거의 대부분 귀신이 잠복해서 생기는 질환이라고 보면 틀림없어요.
Majority of mental disorders are caused by demons hiding inside people.

그러나 제 주장을 증명하려면. 축출기도로서 귀신을 쫓아내고 정신질환을 치유하여 회복시켜야 하겠죠.
But in order to prove my claim is right, I shall be able to heal them by driving those demons out.

충주 영성학교도 2년이 넘었으며 수많은 정신질환 환자들이 찾아와서 기도훈련을 받았으니까, 그 결과에 대해 궁금하시면 카페 글이나 직접 찾아와서 확인해 보시면 될 겁니다.
CSA has a lot of people with such maladies come and get help, so please visit our website if you are curious about what have happened to them.

그러나 귀신들이 잠복해 있는 일반적인 증거는 하나님을 부르는 기도를 전심으로 해보아야 알 수 있습니다.
But usual symptoms, the ones you can't really tell, can be tested by calling out to God with all your heart.

하나님을 부르는 기도를 전심으로 하면, 하품, 트림, 침, 가래, 헛구역질, 구토, 방귀, 설사 등이 나타납니다.
When you start praying to the Lord, you will have yawn, burp, salivation, phlegm, nausea, retching, fart, and or diarrhea.

그러나 이런 현상을 생리적인 현상이므로 오랜 시간동안 날카롭게 관찰해서 분별해야 할 것이구요.
But make sure you take time to look into those; they just may be natural phenomena all humans have.

두통, 어지러움, 혼미함, 전율, 가려움증, 복통, 가슴이 답답함, 심장소리가 크게 들림, 배에 소리가 나고, 움직임이 느껴짐 등의 현상이 지속적으로 나타나게 된다면, 필시 귀신이 잠복해 있다고 보면 틀림없습니다.
If you have headache, dizziness, shivers, itch, stomachache, loud heart thumping, sound inside your stomach or something moving in there, on top of the ones I mentioned earlier, you could be sure you have demons within you.

그러나 귀신이 잠복해있는 사람 중에서 100% 이런 증상이 나타나는 것은 아니예요.
But not all demons reveal themselves through these symptoms.

이런 증상은 약한 귀신이 나가거나, 약한 귀신들이 기도나 식도, 위장, 심장, 등의 자극해서 일어나는 현상입니다.
These are usually the signs of weaker demons leaving you stimulating your heart, throat, stomach, etc.

그러므로 중급이상의 귀신이나 센 놈들은 이런 증상을 동반하지 않을 수도 있습니다.
So if you have stronger demons, they might not shown as easily.

그러나 대부분 귀신이 잠복해 있으면 위의 증상으로 잠복을 드러냅니다.
These are common symptoms of demons residing inside you.

귀신들이 잠복해 있는 또 다른 증상은 고질병입니다.
Another sign would be chronic or incurable illnesses.

정신질환도 고질병이지만 위에서 소개했으므로, 정신질환을 제외한 상당수의 고질병이 귀신들에 의해서 생기는 증상입니다.
Mental disorders are considered incurable as well, but I have already mentioned them earlier, so I won't talk about that.

그러나 모든 질병이 귀신들에 의해서 생기는 것은 아니예요.
Not all conditions are caused by demons, though.

나이가 들어가면서 면역체계가 약해지거나 몸 관리를 하지 않아서 생기는 고질병도 얼마든지 있을 수 있습니다.
You could naturally have your immune system weaken, due to aging or not taking care of yourself too well.

그러나 상당수의 고질병이 귀신들에 의해서 생깁니다.
But majority of chronic illnesses are caused by them.

성령께서는 그들이 뇌를 장악하고, DNA를 조작하며, 말초신경을 망가뜨려서 질병을 일으킨다고 말씀하셨어요.
The Holy Spirit has told me that they invade people's brain, meddle with your DNAs, and corrupt your nervous system.

그러므로 원인을 알 수 없는 유전질환이나 가족력, 선천적인 질환, 청각, 시각, 후각 등의 고질병이나 불구 등이 귀신들에 의한 증상일 겁니다.
So if you have genetic illnesses or disability, and if the cause is unknown, you can be sure that those are from demons.

제가 이런 주장을 하는 것은 그동안 귀신축출을 하면서 고질병이 치유되는 것을 수도 없이 확인하였기 때문입니다.
I am making these claims because I have seen people being healed through prayer, as the demons leave their bodies.

이외에도 알코올 중독을 비롯한 각종 중독도 귀신들의 잠복해 있으면서 생겨나는 증상이라고 보면 틀림없어요.
And addictions are also part of demons' doing; you are under evil spirits' control of you are addicted to alcohol, gambling, pornography, etc., or if you are prone to addiction.

위의 경우는 귀신의 잠복을 쉽게 알아챌 수 있는 방법입니다.
These are the factors or proofs you can check out for yourselves.

그러나 제 주장을 교회에서 들어본 적도 없고 성경에 자세하게 나오는 것도 아닙니다.
But this is not really mentioned in the Bible; and churches don't talk about any of this.

성경은 귀신들린 사람에게서 귀신을 쫓아내고 각종 질병을 고쳤다고 소개하고 있기 때문이죠.
The Bible just says Jesus and disciples drove demons out and healed sick people in a very vague way.

그러므로 여러분에게서 귀신이 잠복해있는 지의 여부는 하나님을 부르는 기도를 전심으로 해보면 어렵지 않게 알 수 있어요.
But you can find out for yourself if you start calling out to God with all your heart.

물론 적지 않은 기간 동안 기도를 해야 할 겁니다.
It takes time, of course.

이런 확인방식이 아니더라도 자신의 영혼이 건조하고 냉랭하며, 신앙이 무능하고 무기력하며 삶이 고단하고 팍팍하게 살고 있다면, 필시 귀신들의 지배를 받고 있는 현상이라고 보면 틀림없죠.
But if your life is dry and empty and are living with powerless and energyless faith, it should be easy to determine; if you do, you are governed by demons, not by the Holy Spirit.
