Let Us Pray (Part One)
Hey guys, so my mom sends me a prayer point every Sunday without fail.
I believe so much in the love and powers of a mother's prayers and since these prayers have changed my life, I thought of sharing them with you guys too.
Here is five weeks worth of prayer points. I hope you have a swell time praying them, just like I did
Let us pray: Father lord uproot every form of sickness and pain from every member of my family and deliver us from evil in Jesus name. Amen.
Let us pray: every satanic embarrassment must stop in my life for good in Jesus name. Amen.
Let us pray: Covenant keeping God, I thank you for my life and my family. Bless the work of my hands and open greater opportunities for us. Let celebrations be multiplied in my home in Jesus name. Amen.
Let us pray: Father Lord increase my faith to know and see You even in the dark in Jesus name amen.
Let us pray: Father I thank you for not failing nor forsaking my family and I. We appreciate you for ever in Jesus name amen.
First class prayers. I only have one concern about #4. Praying for faith is like praying for patience. You already have access to it by the Word of God, Romans 10:17. It is not my intent to be negative or a know it all though. Thanks for the post.
Thanks for commenting and I don't think you are a know it all.
Also I believe that even though we have access to faith, some people struggle with theirs and need it strengthened, hence the prayer.
Really glad you posted these prayers.
Allow me to graciously comment.
"increase my faith" can be considered asking for heightened faith. I have contemplated both- either one has faith or does not AND how strong is one's faith.
In a life filled with new experiences, a believer in Christ is saved, but like Job, our tests can be torturous and only God knows if we can persevere (against sin).
So from your inspiration:
A believer's faith prayer is accompanied by wisdom. Praying for wisdom alone is like asking God how to avoid trouble. In contrast, faith necessitates perseverance, not of the body or even the mind, but of the spirit and soul.
So that we read the word and bear fruit.
