HELLO friend, steemit, I like to say hello today. I want to talk about the 10 commandments. I know there are many brothers who know it but I also know that there are new believers. For this reason, I consider this post important to review the knowledge and learn in an enlightened way this teaching. that is useful and your liking.

The Ten Commandments

The Ten Commandments were the instructions that God gave Moses to share with the people. These were the rules with which God wanted everyone to govern their lives. The Ten Commandments can be found in the Bible, in the 20th chapter of Exodus. These commandments may be difficult for children to understand, but there is a simpler way to read them.
All the commandments, beginning with the first, tell us about the importance of love: you will love God, you will not steal, you will not deceive, you will not lie, you will not kill, you will honor your parents, etc. Everything refers to the same thing: respect and love others.

The first commandment.

The first commandment says: "I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage, and you shall have no other gods before me." This means that God must be put before everything else.

The second commandment.

The second commandment says: "You shall make no image in your likeness, or in the likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or on the earth, or of what is in the waters under the earth. neither shall you serve them, for I am the Lord your God and I am a jealous God, who visited the wickedness of the fathers upon the children until the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, and I show mercy to the thousands who love me and keep my commandments. " This means that no one, except God himself, must be worshiped.

The third commandment.

The third commandment says: "You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not free whoever takes his name in vain." This means that the name of God should only be used with respect.

The fourth commandment.

The fourth commandment says: "Remember the sabbath day to sanctify it: Six days you will work, and you will do all your work." But the seventh day is a resting place for the Lord your God, and in it you will not do any work, nor your son, neither your daughter, nor your servant, nor your servant, nor your beast, nor the stranger who is within your gates, for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and He rested on the seventh day, therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath and sanctified it. " This means that the day of God (Sunday, the Sabbath) must always be remembered and observed.

The fifth Commandment.

The fifth commandment says: "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may lengthen in the land that the Lord your God has given you." With this God is telling his people that they should always respect their parents.

The sixth commandment.

The sixth commandment says: "Thou shalt not kill." The interpretations of this commandment cover a certain range. Some people believe that it prohibits killing any creature; and others say that it only prohibits murder.

The seventh commandment.

The seventh commandment says: "You shall not commit adultery." This means that people must be faithful in marriage. Deception goes against the will of the Lord.

The eighth commandment.

The eighth commandment says: "You shall not steal." This is another easy one. Do not steal; stealing is bad.

The ninth commandment.

The ninth commandment says: "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor." This means that people should not lie.

The tenth commandment.

The tenth commandment says: "You shall not covet your neighbor's house, neither shall you covet your neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that belongs to your neighbor." The commandment says that you should not be envious of others.

Reflection:
The ethical principles of God are binding for all spheres of life. Those of us who are called disciples of Christ must be willing to meet the demands of the Lord in both the public and the private.

Best regards.

hey my friend thank you very much ... I'm glad that ta liked it

They have a uniquely terse style. Of all the biblical laws and commandments, the Ten Commandments alone are said to have been "written with the finger of God" (Exodus 31:18). The stone tablets were placed in the Ark of the Covenant (Exodus 25:21, Deuteronomy 10:2,5).
