"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly: teach and exhort one another with all wisdom, sing with grace in your hearts to the Lord, with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs."
Friend, there are many people today who stand out for their defense of Biblical doctrine and for their faith in the Word of God. This is extremely important. But sometimes, these attitudes are not accompanied by a complete knowledge of the Word of God.
Here "the word of Christ" is mentioned. Remember that the Lord Jesus Christ said in John 15: 3, you are clean by the Word that I have spoken to you. Figuratively speaking, the best bathroom, the best cleaning operation that you can undergo is an immersion in the study of the Word of God.
And let that Word live, it means that you feel at home, that you hold the reins of the house.
We should be familiar with the Word of God. The Bible should not be a strange book for you, as it is for so many people today.
Verse 15 says: and the peace of God rules in your hearts and then verse 16 adds, The word of Christ dwells in abundance in you, that is, that you feel as if you were in your own house. We must know Him.

We must be well acquainted with the Word of Christ, and we must study it and know what Christ is telling each one of us today. Because that is where He speaks to us, dear listener, in His Word.
And then, the apostle told us, teach and exhort one another. With what? With psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. And it is added: singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. The point is that we must allow the Word of God to exercise that wonderful influence in our lives that Paul was describing here.
