STEEMCHURCH NIGERIA VISITS CHILDCARE TRUST FOUNDATION - CELEBRATING CHILDREN'S DAY

Hello beautiful people. So sorry this is coming now, but its better late than never. Children’s Day is a day set aside to celebrate the Nigerian child. This day was chosen by Nigeria in response to a call from the United Nations General Assembly to member states, in 1954, to set aside a day to promote mutual exchange and understanding among children, initiate action to benefit and promote world’s children and celebrate childhood.

Its so sad to know that the Nigerian government have honestly failed her citizens despite the position of our children as the heart and future of the Nation, the issues of child abuse, child labour, child marriage, child prostitution, malnutrition, lack of proper education and sexual abuse are still lingering concerns. We sure can't keep waiting for the government to do everything. So @sc-n decided to go out to an orphanage.
Child Care Trust Foundation located at Bwari, Abuja was the location.

There were lots of children who are deaf, dumb, and suffering from other forms of deficiencies at this foundation.
Its really so beautiful to see the joy from these kids. Immediately they saw the crew, they rushed to give hugs and handshakes. It was such an emotional moment.

The kids had so much energy and wanted to dance throughout the duration of the party. They were so happy!!!

It was also ensured that the staff who work in this institution aldo had something to eat and drink as well.
It was such a beautiful event that begun and no one wanted it to end. Gift items were also presented to the children and the management of the foundation were very grateful.

The act giving to the society and those who truly need it cannot be undermined. It puts smiles not just on faces, but also on the hearts of the receiver as well as the giver.
Everyone sure needs care and wants to be loved (especially the children).

@sc-n is doing a great job. I really have to commend the efforts of @adedoyinwealth, the high priestest of @sc-n. She has proved to be a really great woman with a lovable personality. I appreciate your hard work and determination dear in making this a success. God bless you.
