THE PERFECT MAN

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen...let us share the word of God:

"Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God."(Genesis 6:9 )

The name Noah is best known in the Bible, although his record furnishes only a few details concerning his personal life. But we know that Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord in all his generation "He was perfect" all because He "walked with God" in obedience, and in offering of sacrifice to God.

This gives us the fact that he was a guy of faith and righteousness. His faith and righteousness made him to stand out among his generation and by looking at the circumstances that was surrounded his life and the manner in which God used him to save generation of people from the pre-flood bearing the beginning of a new world, that now is.

All these circumstances leading up to the flood are found in the narrative of the generation of Noah. The word here translated generations has this meaning of historical records. The verse 9 started by listing us know how perfect he was. I think this records inscribe by his three sons. Genesis 10:1 in chapter 6 reveals the reason for God's determination to destroy "all flesh" by the flood.

There was a very shocking development in the human race, where sons of God saw the daughters of Men that they were fair, verse 2 of Genesis. The outcome of thus unholy union gives us 'giants'(Men of renown) soon man's wickedness became great in this world.

But you see the Son of God who married the daughters of men "were not members of human family." We are informed about that Adam was a "Son of God" and lost this relationship with the father by just disobeyed the law of the father. This made the human race also to lost the relationship with the father.

Lest stop here and talk about what is a perfect man. God seeing all this happening in this world made away from us by giving his son(Jesus Christ). If Noah could just walk with God and the father will account to him as righteous. How much more the Son of God himself. This righteousness of Noah could only help to serve his family and not the whole world. But we see Jesus not thinking about the heavenly family but the whole world giving himself to the made a sin sacrifice unto God. The Lord Jesus is that perfect man. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. Who being in the form of God through it robbery of no reputation and took upon him the form of servant, and was made in likeness of men-Philippians 2:5-6.

The Lord Jesus will always be that perfect man. Lets all emulate Him and reach the tower of perfection; even if not completely, to some extent !
